“Excited to eat at Mi Familia Restaurant. The food is Authentic and flavorful! I've been coming here for so many years. As you walk in your are greeted immediately, the staff are very attentive. I was there last week ordered white rice with beans oxtail and barbeque pork spare ribs. Food was delicious!!! Not to mention this is where I get my churrasco (skirt steak) with tostones and freshly squeeze orange juice. Stop by Mi Familia Restaurant and enjoy some Dominican Soul Food!!“

“Very lively restaurant. The food portions were enough to fill you up. The only things that threw me off was how the food was brought over and how the tipping was laid out. I had a party of 5 so our food was brought by each individual plate even if said party members ordered the same thing. The tip part was confusing because it wasn't listed. We only found out after we asked that should probably be something that should be mentioned beforehand to avoid future confusions. However, the food was cooked with great flavor. I really enjoyed the Mofongo con Chicharrón. It was very delicious, it is very heavy and made up for my missed meal haha. My party got the Zapote, coconut, tamarind and parcha(I believe that's what it was called) drinks, they were savory. Will be going back for a heavy meal. “When we lived nearby, my family and I would frequently visit this eatery. We now make an effort to visit this restaurant at least once when we are all in New Jersey. The cuisine is classic Dominican goodness. I love the stew chicken, roast chicken, ribs, chicken and pigeon peas and red beans. All are delicious. My Mom loves the octopus salad.“
