“Have been recently shopping in the area , deciding to buy an ice tea much to my surprise i was unable to leave a tip for the service. .My understanding is that's the policy from Ownership, shaking my head and feeling bad for employees especially during these times i said I've never heard such a thing.I am one who truly believes tipping is essential for the many people in these jobs.“

“Went to the brand new Houston location and things are a bit rocky with staffing and supplies but I want to brag on your employee CAMILLA ! We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. U had no idea that my Morning started out so crappy, and your sweet personality and loving spirit really turned my day around and the tres leches latte was AMAZING 🙌🏼🩷💯 yall go see them and be patient …..it’s worth the wait ❤️ side note… the whole place is decorated beautifully! “Every once in a while you find a place that makes you feel like a kid again in the most beautiful way. This place is one of those places. Everything is perfect. The food, the vibes, the people. My only complaint is that I had to leave and go home afterwards. The most wonderful little cafe you will come across.“

“Food is so delicious and great, we tried the egg and cheese with halal bacon which was tasty, but the short ribs sandwich is another level of tastiness, was just perfect!
Their coffee is also perfect.
The staff are very friendly and nice, for sure I recommend this spot for a brunch.“

Wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was good. The chorizo was the one I went with definitely wasn’t disappointed.

I don’t think it’s worth a far drive but if you’re in the area or it’s not completely out your way it’s definitely worth stopping in for a visit. The place does have seating but not a lot of room. There is a park near by and lots of outdoor seating near the area. That’s what I chose to do.

The breakfast burrito price was amazing especially for nyc the food was good quality and really delicious. The sauce everyone was talking about wasn’t over powering. Matter of fact I wish I had more next time I’ll ask for some on the side felt like I needed an extra pump 😂.

I truly enjoyed this place and I’m sure you guys will also the coffee was mid but it’s ok food makes up for it.

“I had the best chorizo torta of my life here. I like trying tortas from Mexican places wherever I go to compare, and this place knocked it out of the park. It's locally owned and operated. Loved having a latte with the meal since it was kind of brunch.“

“When I was in college I was coming here almost daily to do my work. Sometimes I’d try other places but nothing compared to Mandy Bean.

The coffee is on the “pricier” side but if it was a corporate business no one would bat an eye, so I personally don’t mind because I know regardless of what I order it will be consistently made well and I am more than happy to support a small business.

They are usually busy but if I had to wait for a table/seat I was never waiting for more than 10 minutes. Plenty of parking. Bathroom is always clean. The music is perfect for concentrating on my work. It is a comfortable space for working and also to come with a friend. Their everything seasoned croissant is one of my favorite things ever. The staff is always patient, kind, and knowledgeable. My boyfriend isn’t really into coffee drinks so always finds himself enjoying a seasonal tea. There is something for everyone here.“

“Ive been coming to Annie’s for over a year and love it so much! Their coffee is top tier! I usually get a latte or their draft La Colombe cold brew. It’s always made perfect they also have a variety of pastries and bagels. I’m a big dog lover and have a doodle of my own and this place is super cute because they have a separated dog friendly back area which you can bring your dog to socialize with others and enjoy your coffee.“

“Where do I start, Portrush is one of a kind. The baristas are not only knowledgable but also truly hospitable and very welcoming. Since they have opened I’ve seen this true cafe and espresso bar put smiles on 100s of faces. If I mention the establishment it creates curiosity and if already known, I always hear “They are awesome, Que rico, or another positive accolade.” The perfect place to learn about the process of coffee and the love of community. I recently learned the name is in homage to Portrush, Ireland—another testament of the unique diversity of the Village of Port Chester.

“This place hit a bunch of the same things I look for in a coffee shop.

(1) the cold brew is excellent! They didn’t have it on their written menu but they do have it! It’s delicious.

(2) The shop is so relaxing and even though I did take away I felt like staying a bit to enjoy the ambiance.

(3) The staff is friendly, fast, and super pleasant to interact with.

“There is only one place that ever made a better chai, and they are no longer in business. This is the closest I’ve ever come to reliving that glorious chai. London fog was good with beautiful smelling earl grey. Lavender latte was perfect! Cheese danish is awesome, as was the cheddar biscuit. Only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the cherry scone. Just didn’t have much flavor. Everything was amazing otherwise. Super chill vibe. Everyone seems to know each other and everyone knows the baristas, which is cool. They definitely have regulars for a reason. Thanks for starting my day off right during my visit!“

“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“Cute well decorated shop with seating, plants, and cold vegan food. Wish they had outlets for laptops or fresh hot food. Looks like they have liquor but they’re closed after 3pm and on weekends so that doesn’t really make sense?. Tried a horchata latte and it was very sour and difficult to drink. “Went there with my dad for the first time recently. Such a good spot. We were so happy to have found this cafe/bakery. We had a great time and conversation with a woman, I think the owner (she told us she was from Colombia. Forgot to ask her name, sorry). “Around 6:30 in the evening on weekdays, the store is almost full, business is pretty good, and the store also takes a lot of takeout orders.
The two of us ordered a bowl of mixed beef pho, a fried spring roll and a pork bun, and were very satisfied with everything. The fried spring rolls were very hot when they were freshly fried. They were crispy on the outside and filled with minced pork. They were delicious with the dipping sauce. There are three pork buns in a portion, and the fillings are crispy pork belly, pickled radish and sweet noodle sauce. This combination is unexpectedly harmonious and very satisfying. It is my favorite. The beef rice noodles contain beef tendons, beef slices and beef balls. There is not much meat but a lot of rice noodles. The soup is sweet and has a bit of Chinese medicine. It is just right for two people to share a bowl.“

“Don't let Gandalf's scowling face discourage you! This pastry cafe is a MUST GO. We tried a little of everything, but my personal favorite (so far), was the pizza croissant. I've had A LOT of pastry in my time (my son went to the Culinary Institute and he's a pastry fanatic), but I swear to you, Elevenses' croissants are AMAZING. The pizza croissant had a little heat, a little tomato and a little cheese but BIG FLAVOR. I know it's annoying when someone capitalizes stuff for emphasis and I have never done it before so you can imagine, I'm not messing around. If you love flavor, freshness, an attention to every detail in every bite, you must try this place. It's a little out of the way, but honestly, it's a reason to come to Astoria. Manon, move over, Elevenses pastry has taken the prize.
BTW, just found out Georgia's landlord is being a brute and Elevenses will soon close. SAVE ELEVENSES!!!! “This is our local coffee shop, and my husband and I loved it. Workers and owner are so nice, the chai from there is my favorite!! The first time we went I got a chicken buffalo sandwich, and my husband got a tuna sandwich. “I almost don't want to write this review because I want to keep them a secret, but this cafe is such a gem in the Astoria neighborhood. Best baked goods and a great drink menu with seasonal options as well! I'm a huge pastry person and the owner bakes all of the yummy items you see in the display. The barista is also super nice and remembers all my random customizations for sweetness :)

They also have dog treats if you're picking up your order with a fur baby!

“This was my favorite coffee shop in Harlem. Loved the design and usage of the space. It’s lush and green with all the various plants as it’s also a plant greenery & hardware shop.

The pastries, especially the almond croissant was on par with something I’d get in Europe. It was soft buttery with the almond filling while perfect in the flakiness and texture. All in all recommend.

The gentlemen at the bar was full of charisma and just had an awesome smile. I think his name was Yousef. He engaged with everyone that walked in. Really appreciated his sincerity.
