“One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. Easily my favorite restaurant on Long Island. I am a chef and the guy at the table next to me was as well and we were both blown away. My kids (4 years old) loved everything, my mother (pescatarian) couldnt have loved her food more. The drinks were on point and the flavors were beyond compare. Their char sui bao were hands-down the best I have ever had.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian dim sum and a ton of dishes too. Absolutely fantastic vegetarian offerings!Kid-friendliness: My 4 year olds loved the place! The servers were great with them!“

“I have been coming to this establishment since it was legit a box on the block. If you walked too fast you'd miss it...and I'm so excited and impressed on how they've transformed to become such edgy, dateworthy and "Instagrammable" sit down dining restaurant.Prices & Food: very reasonable, includes lunch time specials that won't dent the pockets. I haven't had all of the dishes on the menu but the ones that I have had I enjoyed. I ❤️ the fact that they stay true to their roots regarding heat levels. They don't dummy it down for us NYers..you came there remember! On the flip..they should stay true to their roots and not serve fried chicken wings the way we do up here. That was a miss ?Cleanliness: ? they nailed it! The bathroom decor is something I'd be inspired to copy and VERY clean, smells good, etc. I hold a sanitation certificate so EVERYWHERE I go I'm looking in corners, looking at the ceiling, under the tables..I need to know my area is clean to enjoy my food! 5stars!Service: No complaints. Each server has been attentive and patient; never really hovering to rush me and my party out so much appreciated ?I would very much recommend coming here. Nice for a solo date or bring a party. The place is inviting and seats about 40 people in total I believe. Warm months brings outside dining, never done it, but it looks ?Wheelchair accessibility: Establishment provides outdoor dining and has a ramp! Thoughtful!“

“We arrived before 12:30 on a Saturday and was lucky to get a parking spot. But surprisingly after we parked more spots opened up. We ordered a papaya salad, beef noodle soup, duck noodle soup and chicken curry. The papaya salad was quite spicy.“

“Got the papaya salad, pad spicy miso eggplant & shiitake fried rice. Papaya salad- that was pretty spicy, very fresh and crunchy. I couldn't tell if there was papaya in there because it was white? Eggplant- good flavors and well done, needed a bit more rice though because it was again, quite spicy. Shiitake fried rice- no overall complaints, I liked it, but wish it had a bit less oil.“

“A comfortable Japanese fusion spot in a complex with convenient parking lot. The restaurant offers lunch special and full menu ranging from sushi, hibachi, and bento. Good quantity for the price paid ($30 for one special roll, Kamazaki, and one regular shrimp tempura roll)The restaurant is clean and spacious with plenty natural light. Only glitch was the waiter seemed confused when ordering and didnt seem familiar with the menu. Other than that, a good spot for fusion craving and would come back again.“

“We started with the shuami which had a peach on too that was the best shumai I ever had . Also started with the rainbow soup dumplings each individual dumplings had its own unique ingredient inside which made it interesting to see what you get . For entrees we did the pineapple rice with chicken. I also had an item that wasn't even on the menu but the beef was great nice spices to it very traditional tasting dish drank a lychee martini also which hit the spot for happy hour highly recommend this place for a dine in or quick bite . Enjoy“

“We are huge fans of Peter Kelly's, but the little things need to be improved. We've gone to Kelly's places since the 90's, and are big believers, and X2O's lunch used to be the best buy in town. Like everything else the price has climbed, and it is no longer a great bargain, but it is still worth every penny at $36. The lunch menu has expanded, and even though we miss the risottos, the selection is ample, and the specials are terrific. What caused the rating to drop from five to four stars are two simple but vital things - the bread, which used to be a highlight, was very mediocre, and the coffee was weak, unusual for X2O. The food was spectacular, but the little things need to return to their usual high level.“

“The food here is out of this world. Everything is so fresh, tasty, colorful, and delicious. The two sisters who run the place are very kind and again, love the food. Outside of Thailand, this is the best Thai food I've ever had in NYC!“

“04/11/24We were in town for car repair and researched local Indian Restaurants near our location. This was not near us, but chose it based on earlier reviews. I will say that this restaurant lives up to all the excellent reviews posted. The meals can be described as Asian with Indian infusion. My husband and I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Onion Fritta, and Crispy Cauliflower dish. The chicken and onion dishes were traditional style Indian cuisine. The Cauliflower was simular to the texture and seasoning of General Tso's chicken (awsome). The owner is very professional and helpful. My husband walks with a cane and the owner was aware to sit him at a table suitable. I am glad we took the time to venture out to this new restaurant. This location is located close to IONA college, campus housing and accessible from the sidewalk to handicapped individuals. The owner opened this location 5 months ago. I highly recommend you visit here soon! You will not be disappointed.“

“Ordered a salmon bowl and a side of plantains from here for delivery after finding out Lolo’s closed due to rent hikes (honestly screw landlords ?) but I can confidently say this place is gonna be my new plantain spot bc wow are they good.Salmon bowl was good too, pineapple rice was really delish (a little dry but I ordered the food like 30 mins before the store closed so they still get 5 stars bc dry rice towards the end of the day is just reality and the sauce from the salmon made up for it).Wok veggies were very fresh too (which is again impressive considering ordering right before closing time).“

“What a blast! The food, the atmosphere, the service and wow the drinks! We were killing time to head back home and met up with family that were already there. The fried shrimp dumplings was so good! And the wings!? Wow! The drinks by far were the highlight of the night. Were definitely going back with some time to chill.“

“I visited Tiga sushi restaurant this past weekend and was delighted by the excellent food. Making a reservation at the sushi bar, I arrived early but felt a bit rushed after receiving my meal. Despite a 20-25 minute wait for my appetizer and entrée, I thoroughly enjoyed them. However, when I wanted to order another item, I was informed about another reservation taking my seat soon. While I appreciated the courtesy call to inform me about an earlier table availability, arriving earlier led to feeling rushed to finish my meal in just 45 minutes. Despite the rush, I would return for the fantastic food, but I hope for a more relaxed dining experience next time.“

“Stopped in for a quick takeout order on a weeknight, the staff were very attentive and provided great service.Food:- Kai burger: SO good!! Highly recommend. Really good flavor and ratio of meat and cheese and toppings. Best part of the meal.- onion rings: these were okay, but I think it was due to the delay in getting home and eating them. The sauce was good and and breading indicated they’d be good fresh. Could benefit from having more in the order.- soup dumplings: very tasty, still warm when I got home with them. Had a lot of meat packed in.Had a little mishap with the shrimp dumplings, but the staff was proactive and made the situation right. Food was out quick. Give this place a try if you’ve got a hankering for some comfort food.“

“This was such a fun experience! I've never been to a BBQ where you cook your own food but I loved how interactive it was. All of the meats were seasoned so well! The noise was a little bit on the louder side as there's no separation between the booths. Also the soda gun stopped working while there so they couldn't make our drinks but Cameron, our waiter, made a suggestion for yuzu sake based on the drink I had chosen. It was amazing!! I would definitely come back and choose my own foods next time but choosing a course helped alleviate the stress of it being my boyfriend and I's first time. Now we know what meats we like and would get again versus the stuff we weren't as much of a fan of.“

“Absolutely wonderful but understated sushi spot on the upper East side. Always super fresh ingredients with a quiet but kind staff. Atmosphere is relaxing, and spa like. I recommend always getting a pot of tea, which is lovely floral with an air of jasmine. Great place 5 star quality at 3 star prices.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide paths allow easy access for wheel chairs, no steps.“

“Vegetarian options: There were enough options for my vegetarian friend to choose from.Parking: The restaurant is an anchor to the Westchester Mall, which has plenty of parking that is now flat rate vs the hourly they used to charge.Kid-friendliness: There were kids throughout that appeared to be enjoying themselves.“

“What an absolutely fun and incredible experience. The restaurant is very lively, even on a Monday evening in the winter so you can imagine what it would be like in the summer months. A reservation is highly recommended, especially if you want seating at the grill but on off days you shouldn't have a problem with a walk in. Well depending on the group size. The menu is plentiful but simple, so many options to choose from and even good vegetarian options. The servers were very attentive, polite and friendly. The chef was extremely entertaining. You can tell he loves his job to the fullest. First he confirmed everyone's orders so he could prepare them properly and confirm and food allergies. Because I'm allergic to shrimp he cooked my steak first and served it so he could cook everything else without contaminating my food so that was very appreciative. He cooked with style, flair and a huge smile. The guests were very happy with the presentation and cooking. The price may seem high at first glance but you get what you pay for. I ordered the new York steak and it was served with grilled vegetables first then egg fried rice then noodles and then the protein cooked exactly how I wanted it. I was very happy with the overall experience and food and I highly recommend this place to anyone who has never been to a hibachi restaurant.“

“This restaurant used to be located more further down on westchester ave. It was called Monte de oro (gold mountain). I used to go there when I was a kid to a teenager. Then, it closed down. Thank god it relocated more up westchester ave. Under the name of el pabellon de oro (the flag of gold) It still had the same waiters & owner so I knew the food would be the same(delicious). It is a Chinese Spanish fusion. My go to dish is the steak w/ shrimp fried rice & plantano maduros(sweet plantains). Staff is ok. I like that the inside has a fish tank. It also has a lobster tank where you pick your own lobster. They had this in the old restaurant. The environment is just ok. I really came for the delicious food!!!“

“Fresh, delicious food at very reasonable price, paired with great, friendly service --- what else can one ask for? Perhaps a variety of Asian food including quality sushi, poke bowls and ramen dishes? Yep - they have you covered in a clean dining room. Even the fish in the aquarium at the entrance are well-behaved and wish you a "bon apetit" when you enter! [Just kidding, but only about that last part]. Happy that we found this place, and will be back!“

“Crispy Bamboo Village has always been one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. It is a great option when you need your lunch or dinner to take out. Delivery is also an option using any of the apps available but being so close to my home, I prefer to pick up the food. The service is fast if you consider the large number of orders that they receive by phone, which you can listen to ringing while waiting for your dishes. The quality of the dishes and their prices are not comparable with any fast food if customers take into account the time of preparation, the balance of the ingredients offered (including vegetables and meats), and the flavors that, different from a burger or hot dog , results difficult to replicate at home. “A bit expensive but I liked it for what it is.... just a sushi joint with no aspirations to greatness. Wait staff and bussing were great, host was kind of awful so service was mixed.... food was good and beautifully prepared with reasonable portions for the cost.“

“Found this random taco place in Harlem, and I thought it was amazing! We tried the tinga taco, barbacoa taco, and the korean bulgogi taco. I liked all three, but my friend didn't find them to be his favorites. Customer service was excellent. There aren't too many places to sit, but if you go at an off time, it is pretty easy to be able to hang out there. They had some great sodas there too.“

“We went for hibachi during lunch and it was nice because it wasn’t packed. Our only complaint about our experience here was that there was a hair in my partners dessert, and it clearly wasn’t his. Other than that the servers and chef were nice, and the hibachi itself was good.“

“The owner of iDiner moved about four stores away to Irma off of Main Street, and I'd have to say ambiance wise it's truly an upgrade. They have a beautiful dining patio outside and a humble interior. The bathroom is easy to get to and spacious. Everything is at grade level which is even better for handicapped people. I had a party of six and we sat outside. There was a good mix of shade and sun for those who didn't mind being a little cold or hot. The restaurant was able to accommodate us on Easter Sunday an hour earlier than they originally do open, so we would be guaranteed a place to eat. (Every other option was fully booked a week in advance!) The food was really good. We had a mix of beer and boba shakes for those of us who are sober. The kimchi pancakes were perfect and no shellfish to be frightful of in regards to allergies. We tried their popcorn chicken and one was a little sweet and spicy and the other was plain. We shared edamame. And everyone was happy with their dishes whether it be the vegetarian japchae, beef bulgogi, dolsot bibimbap with an egg, house salad, soup, chicken katsu, etc! Only one star removed because the veggies were still more raw than cooked in the dolsot bibimbap. I know we were a large group, but cooking it a little extra would have been preferred. Happy eats!“

“I visted Tasty House on 9/30/23. I purchased a sesame chicken with brown rice combination plate as well as a pint of broccoli in garlic sauce! I also had chicken wings, which were plump and juicy. The food was delicious and their staff is always friendly, no matter how busy they might be.“

“As a New Yorker when someone suggests going out for Chinese you would normally assume, and rightfully so, that you'll end up ordering from a "hole in wall" fast food spot.Kai isn't that. It's a sit down place where you just enjoy your food in a peaceful atmosphere. The pricing was ok, but it was NYC so it was to be expected. The food however is worth the cost. Consider it something like take-out plus, Chinese food with a twist. And it is not just "Chinese" food, under the category of "Asian fusion" their menus are a little bit from the many color cultures of the East. Come for sushi, get some hot sake alongside it, with some wings and soup.It was a great place, relaxing, the music was tame and not in your face, and the staff seemed to have grown on us as time went by.Bring your family, or friends, or maybe just by yourself and have yourself some of that classic food we New York's associate as Asian.“

“A hidden gem!! This is a no frills, authentic home style korean restaurant. It only has 6 tables and filled with middle aged people who knows how good this place is. Please be gentle with the owners who are the chefs and waiter staff and work nonstop throughout the day. The kitchen is nicely organized and clean. This really is a hidden but authentic place.“

“Lin's might be my new local go-to for pan-Asian cuisine in North Bronx! My takeout order was ready for pick up within minutes, the staff was friendly, and everything was packaged perfectly. The inside was clean and spacious when I stepped in with a nice, casual atmosphere when I stepped in.As for the food, everything tasted fresh, delicious, and perfectly satisfying! I had the chicken fried rice, the spicy crunch salmon roll, the pepper tuna avocado roll, and the shrimp tempura roll. All of the rolls tasted great-- the best one being the pepper tuna for me-- and the preparation and quality really allowed the flavors to shine. However, my favorite item turned out to be the chicken fried rice. The chicken tasted just a bit caramelized for a savory, umami-rich dish that was not at all greasy. I would definitely come back just for this fried rice!Overall, Lin's was definitely worth it with the reasonable prices justifying the portion sizes and quality of the food!“

“us locals call it "gas station sushi" but don't let that name be a turn-off. it's located in the same location as a gas station, and a Red Mango ice cream shop. The sushi is always fresh, and delivery is super fast. And don't stop at just ordering sushi.... they will make any traditional Asian dish you like including the very best wonton soup I've ever had. You can't go wrong with Kiku sushi!“

“I've had so many great meals here for lunch and dinner! If you like sushi, try their creative house items like their avocado eel rice or their sushi pizza, etc. My regular is just the sashimi deluxe so if you're a purist, you can rely on fresh slices here. They also have good cooked Japanese and Chinese food so if you're into something hot, try the hibachi, teriyaki or udon noodles. Definitely ask for recommendations, all their servers are knowledgeable and well-trained. If you want to karoke with dinner, Saturday night is so much fun and it's a great crowd.“
