Mozzarella sticks were frozen, Cajun fries, a handful of paprika drowned over the top Today beer that's normally $6 was $8 plus a $4 tip, tax and looking for another tip. Bill should have been $20 it's $30. Live with your wn failure. Don't put it on the customers. Pretty bartenders won't cover incompetence.“

“Emma's continues to be a local treasure! They are consistently the most accommodating restaurant with a genuinely wonderful waitstaff. I never write reviews but after last night I'd feel very remiss. I had a “girls night out” with my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter! Emma's was her personal choice. As a grandmother, nothing could have disappointed but there are very few restaurants in Westchester who take a reservation for 2 on Saturday night and shower you with so much attention. I need to call out our server, Richard D. because he personally attended to the dining comfort of a child on a busy night. Our female busser was also so sweet and friendly. Thank you, Emma's! “I’ve been to The Blvd three times now and every single time has been a great experience. The food is always delicious, the drinks are strong (they definitely don’t skimp on the liquor), and the vibes are always on point. On weekends, they have DJs and sometimes host different events, which makes it even better. It’s one of those spots you can count on for good energy, good music, and a solid meal every time. Definitely a go-to in the Bronx.

“Came in with a small group on 4th of July, later at night, and the bar wasn't too busy. Music wasn't loud so we could talk easily. Bartender super nice -- I asked for water at one point, and he just drew my attention to the water cooler sitting next to the bar that I'd totally looked right past haha. “Came here on a whim during happy hour, and so glad I did. The decor in this cozy bar is amazing with couches and a fireplace in the back, giving an old Irish bar feel with a modern twist, which I loved. The bartenders were amazing, drinks were balanced and very well made and affordable at only $8 for select cocktails and even less for bar snacks.

The music gave throwback vibes which created a more intimate experience for couples who are looking to come here.

Head's up, although the food is air fried, I wouldn't have been able to tell if it wasn't told to me by the bartender, it was so good! “The Snug and City Island Diner are true local treasures. They’re owned by the same wonderful people and share a kitchen, but each has its own vibe and hours — and together they’re unbeatable.

The fully loaded chili here is hands-down the best I’ve ever had. It’s rich, hearty, perfectly seasoned, and also shows up in their nachos, which makes them next-level comfort food.

One of my favorite things? They have a secret menu (no longer advertised) with specialty grilled cheese sandwiches and specialty hot dogs — and we absolutely love it. The Tuscan Melt (no onion) is perfection, and the Reuben Dog is unforgettable. With the hot dogs you get two, and you can mix and match styles, which is such a fun and generous touch.

At The Snug, my go-to drink is a black & tan, which pairs perfectly with the cozy, neighborhood pub feel. Over at the diner, my favorite dish is the Corned Beef Hash breakfast — classic, satisfying, and done exactly right.

Beyond the food, what really sets these places apart is the people. Every server is genuinely kind, welcoming, and deeply plugged into the City Island community. You feel like a regular even on your first visit.

“The Office was a bar we stumbled upon during our bar hop — and holy hell, it was absolutely worth it.

We ordered the “How Your Email Found Me,” “Twerk From Home,” and “Sup Honey.” I loved both Twerk From Home and Sup Honey. Sup Honey had a unique blackberry–sage blend that was incredibly delicious, and Twerk From Home was just as impressive with the hint of coconut shining thru.

For the price point, it’s a 10/10. Would definitely return.“
