“Genuinely not your typical boba spot - because this is the type of bubble tea that was prevalent in Flushing and is so hard to find nowadays. It's classic, good old fashioned bubble tea, for reasonable prices and without the pretentious and manufactured environments that you see from the chains nowadays. It's got the spirit that defined Flushing for so long - they can make great food, so they'll happily open up a place anywhere, even if it's as a stall in an existing Chinese food place. Amazing.

I came here late at night to pick up boba from here on a Too Good to Go order and service was super friendly, and I'd 100% go back during the day. It really took me by surprise just how good this was.

John and his staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the event. They provided us with a private area for the team, while the parent guests were comfortably seated in another section.

“I was in White Plains and saw the sign for Whale Tea—so excited to see that it was a boba shop! The shop is cute, and they have several self-service kiosks for ordering. The two baristas were friendly. I decided to order an egg bubble waffle and was given a choice of ice cream flavors. They made the waffle fresh, and it was warm, crunchy, and delicious—a perfect treat for the cold weather. The ice cream added a nice sweetness. “I think it’s the best bubble tea in town they have lots of variety and real, authentic tawianese bubble tea. The only reason Im rating it four stars is two things. First is that all of the staff members are friendly except for one lady who makes me feel like she doesn’t want to be there. Second is that I feel like when I’m paying extra money for toppings they don’t give a lot considering that I’m paying almost an extra dollar for 15-20 pearls. “I always purchased churros for my brother from here and I had to try the milkshakes! I've had 2 this week and they were delicious!! (S'mores and Brownie Milkshake) There's so many flavor combos to choose from. The young lady who works there is always friendly and the place is spotless. She's a master at that milkshake machine. I blinked and it was ready. Definitely a hidden gem here in Larchmont. I also enjoy how I am available to change the sugar and ice content, giving me the ability to tailor it to my liking even further. My only complaints are that the blender is loud, making it hard to communicate and understand the server. Also, the drinks from the “Butterfly Pea” series taste like water after a while. The store is right on Central Park Ave long with lots of other shopping
