“Great customer service. The people who work there are knowledgeable and they have the best stock of bikes around. At 5’1” no one ever has bikes in my size. Not only did Piermont have a bike, they had 4 for me to test. Sunny also told me the size I originally thought I needed was too big and his recommendation for the smaller frame was spot on. I ended up with a 44 cm Cannondale Evo and couldn’t be happier.“

“Stop the presses!! I found a great new restaurant where artistry trumps slinging hash. It’s Pop Empanada, re-christened Pop Pasta Supper Club on Thursdays and Saturday nights. On those days, Chef Nicolas Pescatore prepares a 6 course meal, and even if you don’t like every course, you will appreciate the artistry and the ambition. Tonight, the courses were 1. celery avocado salad (replacing salmon, which this landlubber doesn’t like), 2. shrimp empanada in a butter curry sauce, 3. pork belly confit, 4. raviolo-soft boiled egg center in a brown butter sage sauce, 5. brisket ragu paccheri pasta, and 6. dessert of frangelica panna cotta key lime shortbread crumble. The cost with tip is around $100 per person plus the cost of your BYOB. We wouldn’t pay that cost often, but it’s a welcome break from the restaurants where kitchen staff show up at 4 PM and are ready to serve at 5pm.“

“I go every Monday with my husband , we love this place , the front guy desk with glasses I don’t know his name but he is so amazing he is one of the kind me and my husband loves going there because of how he is treating us nice and good customer service , my husband is a police officer and I’m a teacher so we only get 1 once a week to go on a date and every week on Monday we go to curry N wok because it’s so awesome , the food so amazing too , customer service amazing , I love the DoSa , pakora with their amazing tea , also their sambar Veda super super amazing , this place it’s my go to . “My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

So we sent a personalized gift down to her with my son. When I asked if it was possible to make it that same day, the owner was beyond helpful. He made sure my pretzel was ready to pick up by the day’s end, recommended great dip choices, and even had a little extra dough left over to include 2 hearts. My son’s girlfriend LOVED her gift!! “This is the first time my husband and I visited this diner. The atmosphere was welcoming. The waitress was very nice and attentive to our table. The food was excellent. We had soup for starters. The white bean soup was excellent. My husband had the Turkey, with avocado, lettuce and tomato, and sweet potato fries, while I had the pastrami with Swiss cheese and curly fries. “A friend and I met for early breakfast at the House Kitchen for the first time. The food and service was excellent. I had a breakfast burrito with ham and my friend had the ‘hangry’ sandwich. We also got some fried cheese and plantains from the self-service buffet section (pay by weight). The burrito and the Hangry Sandwich were both very large and tasty. We were both quite full. The service (family owned) was very good; the staff was very pleasant and kind, explaining various menu items to us. The place is small with a few table but very pleasantly decorated. We would definitely recommend it for breakfast or lunch.“
