“Shout out the older woman who took my order. She was really kind an respectful even though she was riding solo for her shift and was visibly flustered. Following each order she took she said "thank you for being patient with me" I think people should be a bit more patient with you ? ?“

“I always order ahead and often my drinks are ready when I walk in or within 30-90 seconds. Usually they are not particularly busy, but it has helped me skip a long line a couple of times! Sadly, recently, there has been some glitch in the online ordering that always says hot chocolate is unavailable. Disappointing that I then have to wait to order that separately.“

“As an avid fisherman for carp on the canal right outside this shop I understand the frustrations behind them being closed outside business hours, and I’ve seen tons of people try to open the door and it was locked. Anyways, my frail and tiny little girlfriend and I came here on a beautiful night and we got served right away, cheaper than most of the overpriced junk in the rest of Pittsford or other places I won’t name where we just came from (see other reviews) and the gelato was fire. The bowls and spoons were mad cute too. Great experience especially on a nice summer night. Might get hammered at lock 32 after this. They just gotta fix the hours/ door issue and they would have 5 stars. My girlfriend is so cute.“

“Started coming here a couple of months ago because I started running earlier in the morning to escape the heat. It's such a cozy place to take a nice break, grab an iced coffee, pineapple coconut energy drink, or some ice tea. The staff are super friendly and the drinks are really tasty. They also open an hour earlier than the other coffee shops in the village, which is a huge plus. HIGHLY recommend.“

“We ordered breakfast through Grubhub and were blown away by the quality and flavor of everything we tried. We got the Vegan Chesswell Breakfast Panini and substituted provolone for the vegan cheese. The sundried tomato spread added a bright note without overpowering the other ingredients, and the whole sandwich was delicious. My friend, who split it with me, said it was the best sandwich he’d ever had—and one was definitely enough for two people.

We also ordered the Vegan Superior Gone Green, which my wife loved, and the Aztec Mocha Latte, which was absolutely perfect. They balance their flavors so well. We’ll happily order from them again.“

“Our second time coming to the Mad Hatter Restaurant and Bakery. This time we came with our four granddaughters. This is a good choice as our granddaughters like vegetarian food and gluten-free options. This is a unique local restaurant you feel like you’re going down a rabbit hole with Alice. Limited parking which is why we walked from the George Eastman Museum which we just visited. I highly recommend the Mad Hatter if you’re in the city.“

“IM OBSESSED! Its so cute and quaint in here. The person working was super nice, the matcha was super good, and the cherry jam pastry was TO DIE FOR. Like i dreamt about it. if i lived closer id come every day. there was also a small selection of trinkets and books that were really neat! And i really appreciated the single stall bathroom. overall the vibes were unbeatable and i felt very safe in there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“Beautifully prepared dishes that are all made from scratch. Coffee is delicious (if you upgrade to high end). Best scrambled eggs ever. Homemade bagels that are just the right size and so flavorful. The french toast is a work of art and over the top delicious. Shrimp and grits is elevated to a new level. Highly recommend!!! Worth a trip from anywhere.“

“Believe the hype! We went to the Penfield location specifically to try the Cuban menu. The restaurant was sparkling clean and the service was excellent. Four of us ordered different Cuban dishes, while my two youngest ordered off the kids menu. The portions were huge - even the fresh fruit side dishes for the kids! Everything was delicious. The whole time, our table was just a chorus of "Mmm!" while reaching over and trying food off of each other's plates. We will definitely be back!“

“Small cafe tucked in on Monroe Street, my first visit, personally I only go for hot tea, but today I went for hot sweet, boiled, frothy milk, dusted with cocoa, and some sugar gummy like square in a tooth pick, on the side. I was biting this sugar cube, in between my sips of milk. This cube had flavor of rose water and kewra, a familiar taste for me, it's used for flavor in sweet things in India. It was fun. I loved the place, quite, simple, place.“
