“This little place is an absolute jem. Of course great and fresh sushi. But the service is second to none. Li Cheng, who goes by Eric, was one of the best servers I ever had in my life. “Good lunch selections just that their miso soup is so salty. Otherwise everything else is very good. I had salmon teriyaki with California rolls. It came with side salad , miso soup and steamed veggies. Salmon size serving is big for lunch . Very happy with the order. Cheap for $14.“

“This is the second time I ate at Shiki Sushi and Yakitori. First time, I came with my friends, who live a block away, for lunch.

“My partner told me this was the best sushi place ever, so they brought me here. After trying their Sakura roll and honey truffle roll, I can confidently say that I have surpassed the human form and ascended into heaven. This is the BEST sushi I have tried. “Accommodating service but the food- none of it was particularly good.Steak wasn’t the greatest cut or quality. Chicken was flavorful enough so perhaps that’s the star of the show. Tempura wasn’t comparable quality to other places in and around NyC at a similar price point. Ginger salad was decent, fried rice was mediocre.Unfortunately nothing impressed enough to have me want to come back but that’s as a non sushi eater so I leave 4 stars because this place seems highly rated by those who enjoy sushi and I don’t want to significantly impact their rating for something outside of their namesake.“

“Stopped here on lovely afternoon and was met with a friendly welcome by one of the owners who immediately handed me a menu. Dined on the chilean sea bas which was deliciously sauteed in a wonderful sake sauce and the green monster roll - very yummy. I plan to return!“

“Samurai is a great go to spot. We normally do take out. Portion sizes are much smaller when taking out, at least when it comes to habatchi.

The wait staff were amazing so attentive and helpful. Beer was super cold and the leche martini is highly recommended.

The food however was a bit salty, and came out very spread out. The meat had little flavor…be sure to ask for lite soy sauce.

The sushi however is great. Anything on the menu.
