“I have been coming here for years and in short: I highly recommend it. Not just for wine but for the delicious food, ambiance and the staff is great too. Every time we come here we have a wonderful time, they have literally always brought their A game. I love everything about this restaurant and this review is long overdue.Now the long story:The location is great. Hastings is a 15 minute drive from the city but makes you feel like you're a whole world away. Boro6 is within walking distance of several unique small businesses including a vinyl shop and boutiques. Everything is centrally located on Warburton ave or on Main Street where you can find plentiful parking. The area is a hidden gem and makes you feel like you're actually in a small town as opposed to minutes from NYC. It's perfect for scenic views of the Hudson, an afternoon stroll, then dinner and a glass of wine at Boro6.Now more about the wine bar... it is so nice to see the attention to detail and how much they genuinely care about the dining experience. Everything is hand crafted. The menu has so many options and they add new items often with well thought out pairings making each visit unique. The food is always delicious.THE WINE! In the last year or so they have released their own house blend which we were very excited to try. Needless to say it did not disappoint. The restaurant is spacious yet still gives the cozy vibes you desire from a wine bar. The staff is so nice, its evident that the owner really cares as you can tell a lot by the way the staff interacts not just with clients but with each other. When I come back I promise to add pictures to my review but after having yet another wonderful experience here I just needed to take a moment out and give them the kudos they deserve. There were also traditional main course options, as well. We ordered a variety of fish tacos, calamari salad, brussel sprouts, and of course guacamole and chips to whet our appetites. Each were scrumptious. I had the braised beef as my main course which was moist, delicious, and just the right portion. We shared churros for dessert, which were light, crunchy, and simply divine. “The ambiance of Raconteur was just perfect. For that brief 1.5hr dinner, I was transported to a cozy, warm and inviting place. The service was excellent (I even shared our server that her aura was glowing). Since we were doing vegetarian that night, we had the spicy shrooms (flavorful, but a little too chewy for me). Then we tried 2 other entrees that I cant remember the names but the taste was unforgettable, one had had honey on it and the other arugula- the bread, folks will make you rethink Keto- reminds me of home made bread. There were fish & meat entrees as well. Go for the vibe, and be transported and renewed. So glad I found this little gem.“
