“First time here and I can't wait to go back. We sat outdoors and admired the picturesque surroundings. It was pretty busy for lunchtime on a Thursday. My friend ordered the poke salad and I ordered the tuna tacos, which were very delicious and just the right amount. Service was quick and friendly. I was able to get a parking spot in the small lot and my friend parked in the small lot across the street -- someone sitting outside the lot tells you where to park. All in all, I am very impressed with this restaurant. The prices might be on the high side, but you can order the reasonably priced dishes like we did and be extremely satisfied.

“Lovely neighborhood cafe in a beautiful, secluded beach community. They have a convenient parking lot, and the atmosphere is serene. The food is great, and the portions are huge. The wait staff is hard working and do their best to accommodate you. It's a nice spot to bring older folks as there are no steps and seating is easy.“

However, one downside was the use of plastic cutlery, cups, and plates. It detracted from the overall dining experience and seemed excessive, especially when enjoying such fresh seafood. Switching to more sustainable or reusable options would greatly enhance the experience. Overall, great food and views, but the plasticware left room for improvement.“

My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. “Wanted to try a new spot for brunch w/the Mrs and this restaurant DID NOT disappoint. It was 11:30AM and the professionalism and greeting still felt like it was an evening date vibe. Our waitress Ashley, was patient and knowledgeable. She guaranteed I would like the Honey Garlic wings and they were the highlight of the night. Not taking away from the regular and Baileys Chicken and Waffles fresh and delicious taste. Needless to say we will be repeat customers. Possibly become regulars.“

The only problem is occasionally a very drunk, very loud, very short, very smelly stuttering patron comes in and ruins it for everyone.

He keeps telling everyone he is a celebrity 30 years ago, and is like 60, but hits on 20-somethings non-stop, brags about doing coke in the bathroom, etc. He ruins it. If you go in and you see this guy, leave.“

“My son and I are a HUGE fan of Bungalow East !! But last nights experience there was beyond amazing ! My friends threw me a surprise birthday dinner in the upstairs room… the waitress Megan was PHENOMENAL!!! As a waitress myself I was blown away by her ! She was truly AMAZING !! She was so accommodating, kind and made the whole atmosphere of the night lively and fun!! She also was a great photographer capturing the whole night for me!!
