“We stopped here during a road trip and it was so delicious! Their lunch specials are amazing - we enjoyed special rolls and classic rolls. I loved the spicy yellowtail roll. Our daughter had her favorite pan fried gyoza here and they gave her chopsticks for kids and a lollipop after the meal. It was a beautiful restaurant and very family friendly. The service was excellent and the sushi was fantastic - we’ll definitely stop during our next road trip! Thank you for a delicious meal.“

“I don’t know about the rest of you all, but this is by far, the best Japanese Cuisine place in the Area. Some of the best items from their menu The Angry Dragon Sushi, The Shrimp tempura, and the Spicy Salmon rolls.

Also try the gyoza and the amazing Kani salad (regular or spicy)

Also the presentation is outstanding, and don’t forget to try their amazing Thai ice Tea which is homemade. 100% recommended. 🫶🏻

“I am so happy to live right near Kiku because they are a solid, authentic place, which is so hard to find. Their beef and broccoli as well as the lo mein is as good as Chinatown. Some Chinese takeout places I’ve tried in the outer boroughs use really low quality meat and skimp on the good ingredients, but not Kiku! The sushi always tastes fresh and the proportion of stuffing to rice is perfect. There’s a parking lot right outside which is very convenient for pickup.“

“Oh boy where do I start Love sweet mandarin was very nice restaurant/ hibachi restaurant and very happy ambiance and the staff was wonderful. Everything taste so good from appetizers to drink and hibachi dinner for 3 adults and a child. Chef was excellent and very funny love it there. “Just had the best dinner at Shoyu Sushi in Scarsdale. I’m vegan, and they have a few options for appetizers, sushi and entrees. Got the fried gyoza, vegetable roll, kampyo roll and vegetable curry and it was extremely satisfying and everything was hot and fresh. Presentation is cute and they use real wasabi paste (not horseradish). Westchester’s food scene is pretty lacking but this place definitely makes up for it. “Always grabbing take out from here. Everything is good. Great specialty rolls. Really good staple rolls as well their spicy salmon and Philadelphia rolls are great. Their food is always fresh and has some great consistent quality. They are prompt, polite and really worth the buy“

“Kotobuki is an authentic Japanese restaurant with excellent food and service. The head chef is the owner -- Masanori Sato, who goes informally by the moniker "Masa." Masa is always busy, behind the such bar, creating his excellent delicacies. My favorite is the sushi and sushi rolls -- always fresh and delicious. In addition to the traditional rolls, there are some wonderful in-house creations such as the Spicy Betty Roll, Lobster Roll (my wife's favorite), and my favorite, the Kevin Roll. The latter, in deference to the national color of Ireland, is spicy tuna wrapped in slices of tuna, fried, and covered with avocado (green, of course). The setting is not overdone, to say the least, but is very basic -- a variety of wooden tables surrounded by walls enhanced with various pieces of art appropriate to the cuisine and culture. The tables are separated by cloth partitions highlighting Japanese scenery. The table service is excellent, the staff is very accommodating, and shout-outs are certainly appropriate for Mr. Sato's wife (head waitress) and Jenny (one of the welcoming waitresses). Moreover, the dining room is very quiet, conducive to conversing with cohorts without the need to raise one's voice. It should be mentioned that Kotobuki remained open during the pandemic, serving both take-out meals AND in-house specialties.“

I don’t eat it.\nWe arrived and she was definitely happy as this restaurant is the location of the former BOODLES, an old favorite of hers.\nWe walked in and were greeted warmly by everyone and taken to a table.\nOur server Paul came up, chatted, took our drink orders and brought water.\nWe ordered an appetizer to share on his recommendation something with pork in it, fried and very tasty.\nMy wife loves General Tsao Chicken and ordered that. I ordered a dish with filet mignon. Both dishes came with good portion sizes and a nice presentation. More importantly my wife said her chicken was delicious. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly rare as ordered and very tasty.\nMy wife told our server Paul we were coming back soon.
