Top-tier service, great cashier.

Guac is great, pork taco was great. Chicken taco was super dry and nasty. Steak taco was okay.

Rice was straight mushy. Could be from the drive home though.

My main issue is the sauce, asked for the spiciest they had and it didn’t have a hint of spice. It tasted sweet, a mild sauce from Taco Bell is spicier.

Really confused by it, my girlfriend who can’t handle pepper said it was good and had a “little kick to it”. She can’t even handle green Tabasco without freaking out… I NEED ME SOME HEAT MIGUEL!“

I don't know what they call it but I tried a cactus leaf and it was delicious. It has such a flavor that is similar to I guess an artichoke but also very different at the exact same time.

I had two chicken tacos and one chorizo. I love the fact that they have a bar where you can add as much salsa and toppings as you want.

The honey chicken was very tender and flavorful, so good!! My husband had a bowl in the fried tortilla, which was fresh and crunchy. He ordered the honey and shredded chicken. Both were excellent. “Had the pleasure of eating at the Greenport location. Two of my HS girlfriends and myself on moderately busy on Sunday (1012/24) at about 5:30. A young waiter named Brian was our server. We first ordered drinks, mine was the margarita with the pomegranate swirl. So delicious!! Refreshing and frosty! We shared the Mexican Street corn and the three dips with chips, which were freshly made. So fabulous! So tasty. The salsa, guacamole and queso were just perfect, each different but delicious!! The corn was sweet and flavorful. I had three tacos in hard shells. Fried chicken, fried shrimp and the marinated steak. Each one was different and very fresh. My one friend, is a vegetarian and the other is gluten intolerant BUT! They each found many yummy choices! I’ve been trying to get to this restaurant for several years, and finally the planets aligned! Brian was well trained, patient and informative with a good humor. The interior is bright, festive and clean. So much food, I could not finish all of it. And!! the restroom was clean! You should be very proud of this business! We will be back! Thank you!!“

On the real, Vallarta is not talked about enough. We love their chicken and steak platter, kids chicken quesadillas, nachos and OBVIOUSLY the Puebla Burrito. It’s so fresh and healthy.

Kelly in the front is the most lovely person to yap with and the guys in the back are always smiling. If you live further than 5 min away don’t even bother calling your food order in because it will get cold, they make it so fast.

The decor screams authentic and fiesta, the servers are all very friendly and helpful, and we love the menu!

There is something for everyone, our favorites are the fajitas and the enchiladas. There’s even a kids menu so our little guys can enjoy the night out with us.

Drinks are always great and the prices won’t disappoint either.

“Even though our son is a professional chef and we think of ourselves as "foodies," we have only limited experience with Caribbean cuisine. That's going to change, because we will absolutely go back to Taino's to explore more of the menu. We went around 6-ish on a Monday night to celebrate my birthday, and the only other patrons were at the bar. They appeared to be regulars, and the vibe was warm and casual. Coconut shrimp is one of my guilty pleasures and I order it every time I see it on a menu. Tainos' was quite possibly the best I've ever had: enormous shrimp coated in batter and flaked coconut, fried to crispy perfection and served with a to-die-for coconut dipping sauce. I'm also a skirt steak junkie, so ordered the Churrasco al la Parrilla which is served with a large serving of rice, bowl of red beans and chimichurri sauce, all presented beautifully, complete with an orchid. I was so full from the shrimp, I took nearly all of my entree home. Our lovely waitress (also the bartender) packed up my leftovers so they were just as attractive and appetizing the next day. Everything, including the steak, reheated perfectly. Granted, at my age I have a small appetite, but I'll be finishing the second (!) half of my steak, rice and beans tonight (night #3). Our son ordered the chicken Canasta de Platano (plantain 'baskets') appetizer and grudgingly gave me only a tiny (delicious) taste. Husband ordered fried cheese, and ate a whole piece even before I could take a photo. Again, I was allowed only one bite, but know I'll order my own the next time we're there. He also ordered the skirt steak, but our son tried the Colombian platter (steak, avocado, pork cracklings, fried egg, rice and more), which he loved. He gave me the sweet corn cakes which I devoured. Can't wait to try "mofungo," which seems to be a signature dish. The oxtails look fabulous, too.“
