Un posto da non perdere, infatti non vediamo l’ora di tornare…aspettateci! ****** English We bumped into Santa Chiara Cafe by chance and after it became our favourite place for breakfast but not only…it is clean and elegant in classic italian style with a great view towards the Manhattan skyline. The staff is nice, polite and very skilled. Food and drinks are top quality with modest price. However, we want to tell you more; favourite food, among the others, are croissants, tart and all the deliciuos small cakes. Not to mention the excellent homemade ice creams. Nothing is left to chance, also our pet friends were super happy to taste the eccellent cookies. Special mention to Enzo who makes the best omelette in town. Last but not least, the owner Cristiano: polite, kind, nice, professional and very generous. Highly reccomended place, not to be missed, we are looking forward to go back again…wait for us!“

“The cutest local café, poc women owned! Fresh baked goods (from brookies to ube bread pudding) & food (breakfast sandwich on Foccacia) they are all made with love. This is the family oriented local café you want to support! Absolutely delicious with friendly service. I discovered my love for Authentic Filipino food at their Lunar New Year Dinner event! They offer in café dinner events and indoor dining now! They also provide catering (saved me at Thanksgiving!) and meal prep services!“

“We visited in May 2025. I would recommend this place. We had a long layover. A local told us about this place. We walked over here with all our luggage in tow. The restaurant is inside the TWA hotel. The hotel is cool in a retro way. We were able to store our luggage under the counter. There was no wait for a table. The wait staff was super friendly. The food was really good. The pizza and salmon sushi were my favorite. Even the salad was excellent. We spent a few hours eating and drinking. Watched a wedding take place in the lobby. It was a fun experience versus sitting in the terminal. There is also a plane in the back of the hotel that they turned into a bar.“

“It’s a good place to chill.
You can have a sip of coffee, with their famous French Toast (my trick is to add strips of bacon as the sides! The brioche is just so buttery and soft! It goes so well in a sweet and savoury tone, yummmm!) or to enjoy a drink, a beer or some wines with friends there.

Iced latte and Flat White are always my favourites. Their scones are amazing indeed, especially the Blueberry white chocolate one! It’s an evil combo and simply too good to share with others!

I have been visiting on a monthly basis and Nicole is such a nice lady. She remembers me and what I like ❤️ I’m feel warmed and welcomed. Thank you for the wonderful experience overall !“

“A very beautiful space with cozy sofas, interior and light. The food wasn’t something crazy about: we took potatoes, parsnip soup, and tiramisu latte, they were okay. The place by itself was a little bit dirty on the floor, and some details, as a server that didn’t know that tiramisu includes alcohol in a recipe, and the fact that the same coffee was served in different cups, brought a feeling of mess, however I want to come back for lazy mornings atmosphere.
We parked right near the main entrance, however it’s under construction zone now.“

“I liked it! I got some as a gift so I didn’t visit the actual store. All time favorite thing here was the strawberry pastry (if the business replies; please just say the name of that one) SO good. I would come back for that. Fantastic. Fluffy and light and airy with a perfectly sweetened cream fluff inside. Wow.
Corn cheese bread was sooo fun. If it’s served warm; I bet you it’s fantastic but I did eat it a couple of hours after it was ordered.
The fig bread had an amazing texture to it. Light and fluffy like Portuguese bread (I did personally wish the figs were cut smaller to enjoy more evenly but that’s personal preference)
The variety of stuff was really fun! Some things I did not like at all but my friends did so that was just personal preference.“

“Beautiful shop with a very calm yet lovely atmosphere. They have a study room in the back and are open until late, making it very ideal for studying or doing work.

The cashiers were very adorable and sweet. I had a strawberry croffle and green tea latte with oat milk, which were both very tasty yet refreshing. I like that their stuff isn’t too sweet. Also, their prices are very good. In total I only spent ~$13 for the large drink and croffle. I’ll be making the trip here more often.“

“Good place to hang out for snacking. Crepes are nice not great, and so is their coffee. Come here for a pit stop but not as a destination. The decorations are cute and cozy but they tend to use the fan more than ac, so on hot days it can get quite warm with all the lights. This place is a self serve place, so you gotta pick up your food and clear it just like at McDonald's.“

“The turquoise blue color outside is catchy. Wanted a small bite so went here on a warm afternoon so had to sit inside, since shaded outdoor tables were taken. Counter window seating had blinds which we were able to adjust. With colorful lanterns and paintings; quiet there even when crowded.
I picked salep for my drink- good, tasted like chai, cinnamon. Bagel with sundried tomatoes and olive cream cheese was satisfying and would get again.

On Queens Boulevard so metered street parking; by the 7 train.“

“I've been ordering lunch delivery here for a while now. Each time, the experience has been amazing. Yes, they are pricey, but the food and presentation are so worth it! I loved the kippered salmon sandwich. I cannot get enough of their butternut squash soup and the varied fresh juices. The tomato soup is also good, and the tuna panini. Now, the avocado salmon sandwich surpassed my expectations! Everything is always fresh and tasty and leaves you with a healthy vibe. The only miss was the “make your own salad” which I would never try again, better to go with what they offer on the menu.“

“Not really a cafe, more like a diner. From the burgers to challah French toast to gyros to French fries, egg creams, desserts, etc., it's a diner. Anyone familiar with a NY diner is familiar with the particular taste and offerings of diner fare. It’s not the best, it’s adequate yet strangely satisfying and there’s a lot of choices on the menu and you expect to feel those arteries hardening. I ordered through Grubhub a burger but actually received a deluxe. Thanks! Good burger and fries (the pickle too!). I will definitely order again. My one complaint though - please set the promised delivery times more accurately. A few restaurants that are close to me (like this one) sends me a text almost immediately after an order is made that “food deliverer is on the way!” There’s just no way delivery will be in 15-25 minutes. Meanwhile even Grubhub is notifying me “you should’ve received the delivery by now,” though I haven’t. I start to think I’m getting shafted and looking to get a refund from Grubhub. So actual delivery was closer to 30-45 minutes.“

Edit: looks like it's been here for a while now, welp never took notice before until today. Hopefully, its not zio-supporter like the name brand DD coffee franchise across from them who are in fact big genocide Seinfeld supporters and sadly are on the BDS list & because there are plenty of thoroughly brainwashed anti-muslim zio supporters all around here.. If you know, you know.

Makes you wonder after every sip, who hasn't been compromised yet? Who's not sucking up to Seinfeld? It is just a matter of time isn't it? They eventually get all of us without us even realizing it.

How did they all know? It only got worse. Everything we used to hear, the murmurs, the chatters, thought that they were just crazy talk, exaggerations and nonsense and now look, its all now right out in the open, right before our very eyes. They were right all along, we been under foreign occupation of the worst kind ever imaginable and it was right under all our noses, and it shrouded itself with the cross, American flag and blind patriotism...it even comes with a neat little yellow ribbon too..a pension, a college fund, green card, visa, an express lane through the friggin airport security, etc..

All I wanted was a Bebsi...

And a nice quiet place to sit, relax and enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of bakery without my patronage supporting the mass murder of Palestinian civilians that are defending their own homeland like the Boston Tea Party. How are people so calm, how are they not hyperventilating?

Aside from these ruminations, this little pasterie shop is literally right across the street from Al-Imaan masjid so you know this is gonna be poppin' from early morning til late at night, at least, it has the potential to be.

Before I even got here, it looks like there were already large group of musalees quietly sitting together and enjoying morning cup of coffee and pastries right outside the store front.

Anna-lisa sparkling eyes greeted me, high energy like she just got out the gym. She is running the counter and is holding down everything outside, she's doing a terrific job, definitely show her love, tip jar is in the front.

Not sure if it's all zabhiha halal items, specifically the sandwiches but if it were, I bet it would be a huuge plus. I was told by a Greek patron here that the owner might already cater to it but I'm not sure, no sign anywhere, maybe because it might look tacky and mess with the feng shui of the place, you know? Besides, owner might have been the guy in the back, he looked busy and I felt shy to ask so I decided to go with chocolate croissant and latte. They didn't disappoint.
