“Pretty cool spot to grab drinks and hang out. However this is a gastropub and the amount they charge for food is outrageous. I ordered the Loaded Nachos for $17 and the amount they give you is insulting. I was excited to have a spot to regular for food and drinks but I might be avoiding their food till something is done.“

If you are looking for a beautiful corner spot in Astoria you have to come here.
One of my favorite things is the view and atmosphere. See trains pass and cars pass by while enjoying your time here.
I met the owners and found them to be very hospitable and I felt welcomed although I had never been there before.
I’ve lived in this neighborhood for about 4 years and I can’t believe it took me this long to try this place.
I will be back for fish and chips again!“

“I like that this place is closer to where I live. Their chicken is always perfectly seasoned and crispy. The soy garlic is a definite must and the truffle fries are great to share because you know....you can't have everything by yourself. lol. I would definitely come for their great chicken!“

“I had my birthday here such a great place to have any celebration, the food was amazing the wait time for the food was not too long, and The staff was friendly and willing to help making it special and enjoyable. “Lively atmosphere, offering more than a just a pub to drink in. We enjoyed the burger and pork chop which had a delicious mustard glaze. My only complaint is that everything is “a la carte”. The price points are over $20 for these items, some fries or a vegetable on the side would be nice. Also could benefit from sound absorbing ceiling panels. We did experience great service. A nice place to have in the neighborhood.“

“looked up soup and the bronx and this is where google took me. I should stop listening to google but I can’t help it. this little voice in my head saying “be an individual, be an individual,” yet i turn my head and say no imma look it up on google this pocked sized friend inside of my phone. how convenient. I didn’t end up eating the soup bc I burnt my tongue but it smelled like asparagus and hazel nut squash (which is what i asked for) so considering that 5/5!!!“

“This is the best tasting West Indian food in N.Y. ! Guyanese style Chinese food , best on Jamaica Ave and probably Queens! The food took less then 10 min to come and the staff had no attitude!“

“We had the best pre cruise visit since we were staying nearby at a hotel. Both bartenders were excellent and the regular customers! Made us “southerners” feel comfy and offered up ideas and suggestions of navigating the concrete jungle! If we ever return to NY, we will definitely be back. Awesome food! Awesome service! Excellent drinks. Made our trip!!“

“Always a pleasure coming to Rove! Tonite was an exceptional experience. I wish i got the bartenders name. Wednesday 4/24/24 between 7-9pm. Nice nails and curly hair. She was funny pleasant and took care of us. Long story short, after great apps and drinks, paid the bill and left…I dropped a $50 out of my pocket after I paid and left and was only 2 store fronts down and she came after me telling me you dropped a bill and gave it back. You don’t see this honestly often anymore. Kudos to her and Rove deserves her as an employee.“

“This is the spot I always go to with my friends to drink and eat some good food! The workers are all very friendly and attentive and the food always comes out really fast compared to other places. It’s also right next to a karaoke so it’s a good place to go if you like to go karaoke after drinking! 10/10“
