“Great casual bar vibes, cheap prices and great food. What’s not to like? We got the frozen mojito, coke, pernil wrap with lemon pepper fries and Thai chili wings. The mojito was not great sadly. There were no Mint specks and I could not really taste the flavor either. I literally just tasted frozen and liquor. Like the flavor of an icee but very bland lol. I love mojitos so this was kind of sad. The coke was kind of sad too, the carbonation was weak. I like when my soda punches me in my chest with bubbles. The food was great! I really liked the wrap, fries and wings. I think the pernil was a bit dry unfortunately, I heard slow cooked and was expecting juicy like carnitas or al pastor or pulled pork. I’ve had juicier pernil before so maybe today was a bad batch. Good flavor but I can’t stand dry food. Lemon pepper fries were everything ! Perfect crunch and seasoning levels and internal fluffiness. The wings were so so good, crunchy, sweet, slight kick, and great with that squeeze of citrus. Absolutely loved it.

Definitely want to go back for the nachos, spice box, chicken sandwich and more. Definitely need to be wary of the bar but my service was great.“

“Fantastic little neighborhood place to unwind after a long day. Prices are incredibly reasonable and the bartenders are really chill. There’s games and a pool table for group fun and the last time we went in, everyone took a hand at playing along with Jeopardy. Awesome place to go and hang out. 11/10 do recommend“

“Absolutely love this spot in my hometown of Ridgewood! The Margaritas here are hands-down the best in town—perfect if you’re looking to enjoy a nice buzz. The servers are always incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home every time. The vibe inside is super cool too, with colorful, artsy walls and a laid-back atmosphere that’s perfect for hanging out with friends or just unwinding. Every visit is a fantastic experience. “We arrived and there was no one to help us, she was busy inside, but other than that, very friendly and always with a smile 😄, the place is clean, the door that goes to the bathroom is a little scary because it sounds very hard but the rest everything was fine“

“My girlfriend and I had a great experience. Good atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The drinks were good and the steak tacos were great. We’d ordered the guacamole and chips and asked them if it came with tomatoes (I’m allergic) the bar tender came back a few mins later and let us know that their guacamole was made with tomatoes but that she would take it off the bill. A manager (maybe the owner) stopped by the table and offered to make the guacamole fresh without tomatoes. We’re thankful for the generosity and would recommend House of Music to anyone.“
