“I went to Everdene Bar with friends on a late summer evening and loved it. The hostess, Guialem, greeted us with a big smile, and our waiter Dawn took great care of us. The cocktails were excellent. I especially enjoyed the vodka gimlet and a strawberry drink(I can’t remember the name). The terrace was amazing for the weather. My only feedback is I prefer adding the tip myself instead of having it included as a service fee. Overall, a great spot to enjoy with friends!“

“A tiny beer bar with a bustling and busy atmosphere. Most nights this place is raucous with students and craft beer enthusiasts alike. It’s not got a lot of seating and the size and shape of the bar means it can be difficult to move around and get to the washroom, but it’s a high quality beer bar with a great list. “First time here! My family and I (party of 13)came here foe dinner to celebrate my 50th birthday 🎂 and it didn’t disappoint! All the apps and i mean cause we ordered alot was excellent! Order the lamb chops, the hakka noodles, and the salt and pepper prawns they were excellent, oh and the lasooni gobi! Our entrees were excellent…do try the punjabi khadi and the fish curry! “After a long walk on the Upper West Side, I came across this spot. It was very nice, with a great selection of beers to help beat the heat. I really enjoyed it and will be coming back to get one of those big cans to go. The bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly. The arcade machine was a total plus. I love those things. “Posting this in direct response to the last reviewer, George Hernandez. This is a family bar that is beloved in the neighborhood and has some of the best craft beer you’re gonna find. Craft beer that costs a fair amount of money for them to bring in. Giving you a sample of however many beers you want to try because you might have a beer you dislike costs them money for no other reason than you are afraid of drinking beer apparently. I don’t know what you do for a living but start doing ten percent of it for free, lmk how much you enjoy that.“

“I live in Forest Hills and I’ve been to this place a few times in the last few months with some friends and let me tell you their beer doesn’t taste any better then a cheap beer or ale from the 99 cent store. I really don’t like to write bad reviews to businesses especially with the pandemic and how bars/ restaurants are struggling to make ends meet today, but I really have had it with this so called owner that was beyond rude to me after I stopped by and used the restroom. I have come as a customer a few times and really needed to make an emergency restroom stop. Since I had patronized his establishment before, I didn’t think it would be a big deal to quickly use the restroom. When I got out of the restroom the owner was very rude and nasty to me, telling me to never come back to his bar. I asked him why and he said because I wasn’t spending money and that my type shouldn’t be allowed to come to his place. I was appalled at his behavior and attitude and told him I will gladly not ever return.“

“The food here is incredible - some of the best Japanese food in Brooklyn. However, the service can be quite slow depending on the night and the menus are a bit complicated to understand at first. There is a lot going on in the menu and the formatting is not consistent which leads to a lot of back & forth when navigating the menu.

The first time I visited last year there were absolutely no issues and I had a fantastic experience. However when I visited again a few weeks ago, I had to wait over 20-30 minutes just to place my food order and another 15-20 minutes for the food to arrive (but this is understandable given it is a small kitchen dealing with many orders).

The restaurant was busy but there were still several empty tables, but there was only 1 server. The server helped me to my seat quickly, but then started cleaning and doing other random tasks and chatting with others for a long time before even coming to me to ask me what I would like to order. Maybe it was just busier night than usual or this server was a new hire, but it was quite frustrating having to sit and wait for so long before even getting to place my order. The server seemed to be more concerned with cleaning tables for potential customers (who did not even show up) instead of the paying customer waiting right in front of him for so long. I even saw another customer literally have to get up from her table and walk up to the server to ask him to come to their table and place their order.

Anyways, the food was still really incredible and I had no issues once it came out, but the server seems to have completely different priorities instead of the paying customers who are actually at the restaurant. Maybe if he had some more assistance or if I came on another slow night he would not be so unfocused. But to his credit, he was apologetic about the wait at the end once I paid my bill.

I would definitely recommend the food here (the Veg Croquette Curry, Fried Garlic Chicken, and Chilled Ramen were fantastic), but this is not a place for a casual dinner as you will likely spend over an hour here.“

Forever ever nice to start. No controversy here. Refreshing. Can really feel yeast is well alive unlike sterilized canned beer.

Also had higher alcohol content alike Double Nectaron Daydream with 8.5%. Felt the buzz. Deceptively tasty. Chic drink? Nope unisex well-liked for most tastebuds.

Also had dark one. Not universally liked. Texture syruppy. I liked it. Quite different but others mixed reviews. No wander bartender offered tasting before ordering for 4.

The place does have TV, so possibly watching MLB playoff. But more of midtown place to hang out after work.
Got really crowded. Tough to get table, seat or even standing room.“

“My wife and I visited Handcraft Burgers and Brews for my birthday this past weekend. As soon as my wife opened the menu she knew that I was going to have to try the burger of the month which was a peanut butter and grape jelly topped hamburger with jalapenos, bacon and cheese. Admittedly I have never had peanut butter and jelly on a burger before but I figured I would try something new and see what all of the hype was about. Turns out, I loved it! Every bite was so flavorful and completely made my birthday lunch a worthwhile venture! We also tried the tater tots, because who doesn't love a good tater tot. We could have chosen from multiple dipping sauces but we decided to go with the garlic aioli and I am glad we did. I dipped each of my tater tots in the sauce and there was plenty for both of us to share. We were helped by Vanessa at the restaurant and she was very accommodating when I was having trouble using a coupon that I had for my birthday. All in all this was a wonderful choice for my birthday lunch and when we are in the area again I would definitely stop by and perhaps try the latest burger of the month along with some tater tots and garlic aioli dipping sauce of course!“
