“Food is always great but its been about 7 times that I have went and the fried chicken has run out, and it takes 15-20 minutes for it to cook. I feel like they need to better manage the timing. Once they see that the chicken on display is half gone, they should already start frying a new batch instead of waiting for the last min where there's less than 10 pieces for them to now start frying the new batch. Also they have a limit on breast they fried in each batch. So if the few pieces are gone, you will now have to wait for the new batch to fry and that can take over 45 mins, especially if they are not ready to fry a batch. Other than that, the food is great and the staff are also very friendly.“

He explains the menu if you have any questions there’s one chef there heavyset African-American man amazing with the beef ribs. Every time I go there he’s cooking they come out 100% not like they don’t want any other time but he put some special Love in there so they’re on 1000. I enjoy everything on the menu they have Yucca fries. They are so good. The rotisserie chicken is juicy flavorful and I give this restaurant a big thumbs up.“

“I frequent this Popeyes locations fairly often, and they never let me down in terms of quality and freshness. The quality of the food has always been good and never disappointing. What really stands out is the professional and excellent customer service provided by Umar (works the front counter taking orders and packing orders at the same time), not just for me, but also any and all patrons I witness coming and going while I'm waiting on an order. Umar is always courteous, professional, and efficient in what he does. He's always on top of his orders, whether it be in person or an online/mobile order making sure everything is in check, and whether the kitchen is on top of pushing out whatever is needed to fulfill an order. Always friendly, courteous, and professional with a smile. Takes orders, prepares, and pushes orders out as fast as humanly possible without any discrepancies. Occasionally, there might be something out of stock which was ordered ahead of time off the app, but Umar will always make every reasonable effort to make things right. Location has also always been clean and tidy. Overall, definitely would recommend this Popeyes location due to their cleanliness, quality of food, and the excellent service provided by Umar and his team.

“I really do enjoy this place. I've eaten here a handful of times and every time the food never fails. They're insanely busy which only puts more emphasis on how the good the food is. They move fairly quick too to keep up with the fast pace. The owner is a really nice guy too and he helps out his team from what I observe when I drop in.“

“If you’re craving some seriously good fried chicken, you have to check out Tex Chicken and Burgers. Their spicy fried chicken is hands down some of the best I’ve ever had: crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite hits just right, and the spice level is perfect, not too overwhelming but definitely brings the heat. (I love spicy food :))

What really makes this place stand out, though, is the customer service. Deep and his team are absolutely incredible. Deep is always so kind, professional, and genuinely sweet — you can tell he really cares about making sure every customer leaves happy. He goes above and beyond, every time. “So this place is funny. Before they were overpriced for the area but they kept their prices pretty much the same as everyone went up around. The chicken here is probably the best from any crown/kennedy within a mile from here. They make everything else work because the prices are reasonable.“

“Chicken and rice is beautiful, best I’ve tried in Brooklyn. They improved a lot since I was in town a year ago. The marinated chicken is very tasty, I think they use tomato, and the chicken is very well cooked, not greasy or anything. It is a little spicy tho, but the rest of the food balances it out. Rice cooked perfect as well. I remember last year I came here the rice was dry.“

“I have been going to this spot for over 25 years and until tonight n once before have not had a rude server. The young man working the window tonight 5/04/26 needs to be put in the back. He wanted to take my card as I placed my order n when I said how much is it he started adding in his head n when I said go pack n ring the order first he slammed the window. Then instead of telling me they had no wings or verifying my order he just packed it n showed me what he was gonna give me. Never spoke to me to say what he was doing. When he came for the card he still never said how much it was he just slammed the window again. Still the best chicken in queens... but this guy made me feel like if I come to the window n he is the server then I will just drive off n come back when hes not there. “I happened to visit New York Fried Chicken on Liberty Ave, Jamaica, NY by accident, and it turned out to be a really good choice. I tried their ribs and fried chicken, and both were delicious. “The most authentic Dominican 🇩🇴 food that I have ever had in all of Brooklyn. I wish I can give them 7 stars! The first reason being is the flavor/seasoning. It is rich in flavor without being salty or over seasoned. My second reason, there is such a huge variety of options to choose from. They have all the typical protein that you’re craving for on any particular day. My third reason, is the price is absolutely unbeatable. I mean, they offer incredible prices despite the current state of our economy. They have a couple of options for dessert as well whether that’s pastry or ice cream. Good amount of seats to dine in. “Best chicken“

“After getting tired of Popeyes making the wrong orders / missing ingredients, I decided to try Texas chicken even though i was a bit hesitant due to some of the negative reviews about their chicken sandwiches.
I went in and ordered two chicken sandwiches, one classic and one deluxe, prices are on the higher end of the spectrum on the classic chicken but the deluxe seemed to be within its fair value since the chicken was approximately 50 percent larger than the one on the classic sandwich. Dont know if that was a coincidence or they really use two different sizes of breaded chicken on the two.

With that being said, i was surprised at the taste, i think that it was far more superior than popeyes chicken sandwich mainly due to the usage of less batter/breading than their competitor.. the staff were nearly silent throughout the transaction but that doesn’t matter as long as the food was prepared properly and delicious enough for me to be a returning customer. The establishment could also improve its atmosphere by not allowing loitering for a better customer experience however, i do recommend this over Popeyes based on my first experience with them. Spent about $16 for both chicken sandwiches in case you want a glimpse of their price range.“

“This is the only Halal spot around the area, relatively affordable, and relatively good tasting. Very good if you live around the area and feel hungry for some fast food.

One thing I liked about this place, is a while back, a worker gave me assurance that this specific spot was 100% Halal.

Workers are quite polite. I don’t think I ever had bad service. They used to not charge taxes for cash, idk if they started doing that or if it’s only for cards.

I would suggest to get the combo because they give so many fries and a soda for $3 more.“
