“very popular places, the name brand of it tell it all. This is first time I tried it after hearing about it for long time before. I love the cleanliness, quick service, clean restroom. Its very crowd but you don't have to wait for too long because serving is quick. Little pricey but I think its fine for a good bagels
The burger is really good, i enjoyed both of them. their bagel bread is in store bake (as i heard) so its very soft, fresh bagels with slightly crispy skin.
Only thing I dont like about the space is there are too little table to sit. I would not mind going there on the summer but it's hell in the winter because you have to wait for quite a time before you can find a sit to enjoy your bagel.“

“I was in a super rush to get to the airport this morning and I had a family of eight to feed before I get there I called Moshe at the Giant bagel store and gave him the order over the phone and 10 Minutes later the food was waiting for me all packed in bags and boxes Moshe and his wonderful staff even his wife came to the rescue I can’t thank them enough. “One of my biggest things I do is when I go out of town is I always look for something local. And right next-door where I was going to be was my favorite bagel. I figured I’ll go get a bagel and a drink. Well I walked in there, and there was all different types of pizza there there was a salad bar on the other side and then there was a bakery got a piece of pizza. I don’t know what kind it was but let me tell you something from where I am in New York this was nothing like it. The pizza was out of this world. I give it five stars or even 10 stars if I could really good food definitely will go back again.“

“A perfect lil “hole-in-the-wall” type of bagel shop!

Lots of ppl will mention other shops as “NYCs Best Bagel” but as someone who literally only comes to the city to walk and eat bagels, I can promise you this is an easy top 5.

The bagel itself is quite perfect, but then they LOAD IT UP with all the fixings to make a boarder-line Katz Deli sized sandwich. I’m always getting the classic Lox on everything and I got BANGGGGG for my buck. Flavor was 5/5. Crunch was 5/5. Ingredients were 5/5. You get the point.

I love the branding too. Lots of cool merch, nice employees, simple streamlined menu with enough options to make everyone happy. Truly you cannot go wrong stopping by their shops. 10 out 10 would recommend.

“Came down from Canada and stopped for breakfast. Immediately bought bagels to cram into my luggage and bring home.

I got the lox avocado on everything. It was wonderful.

Very nice to be able to eat inside the restaurant, plenty of seating.“

“I’ve been coming here on and off for probably close to 25 years. It’s definitely one of the best, if not the best breakfast spot in the neighborhood. The prices are high though and still going up. A bacon, egg and cheese bagel is $7. A raisin bagel with cinnamon cream cheese is $3.75; I think it was $2 just a few years ago.The bagels aren’t the big ones you see in some spots so it’s a quick snack. I can’t justify those prices since my favorite bodega is charging $5 for the bacon, egg and cheese.

The sandwiches are a better value cause you’re getting more than double the food for less than twice the price. I like the “Italian Sub” and “The Russian” for $12. I tried the “Tuna Delight” on a hero today for $10 and it’s more justified than the bagel prices. They charged .50 just to add onions which is kinda lame. Sandwich shops don’t do that unless it’s something like roasted red peppers.

Lastly, they surcharge 3.75% to pay by card. I work in credit card processing so I understand more than most how thin the margins are for a small business. I urge most of my clients to do the same to be more profitable (pass the fees to the customer), but when you’re also charging extra just to add onions it gets to a point where you gotta call out being cheap. Sorry.

It’s still a very good local spot to grab a bite. The place is packed even at 6:30 am. The pictures are the Italian Sub, bacon egg and cheese on a bagel, raisin bagel, and the Tuna Delight.“

“I don’t live anywhere near here but whenever I am around and I gave time to stop, I stop and have a bit here at SHM Bagel & Coffee Shop.

What I like most about it, is the food. I feel like my mom, dad or one of my Aunties made it and I feel like I’m with them chillin’ and eating. It brings back memories.

Besides that, the owner is kind and friendly and so are the workers. This place if clean and smells clean. It’s a spot where there’s no real fanfare but I like that because, once inside, you have some chairs, a few tables and a two stool window seat option. However, there is a long radiator there so, if you sit to the side, things will work out for you eating over there.

They have a nice assortment of cold beverages and food options. Again, the place is clean and I feel confident eating here.

I called in the order, in a half hour the order was ready and got a courtesy call from them. She went to pick up the order. The employees was very nice and polite. “I walked in, and there was an older gentleman who was upset, feeling that he was purposely being overlooked. Two of the managers, who I assumed were managers, came out. They tried their best to console him. I could see in their faces that they were even more upset that he felt this way. They genuinely cared, and to me, that means more than any service anybody could provide. That is top-notch service.“

“Always stop here when i visit my mom! A bakers dozen of everything to go and one sesame bagel with whitefish salad and tomato to eat immediately! even if i just ate or am not really hungry lol.

Bagels are nice and hard on the outside and chewy on the inside. It almost like they are toasted but they are not. They are a good size. The whitefish salad is slightly sweet to me but I like it.

Price is comparable to other bagel places in Brooklyn.“

“La Pizzeria & Bagel in Valley Stream is a fantastic neighborhood spot! Their bagels are fresh and perfectly bakek. “The best bagels in not only Brooklyn, but NYC as a whole. The bagel options are abundant and every flavor I’ve tried is has been 10/10. Recommend the everything, cheese bagel, and blueberry bagel. Cream cheese options follow suit and the scallion cream cheese is my favorite. Atmosphere is lively and service is always pleasant.“
