“First time visited. The food, service and ambiance were great. They have roof top dining which is what we did and the customer service was amazing. My drink was delicious, the food came quick and was hot and music was good also. The only thing I didn’t like was the smoking because I’m not a smoker but I guess that’s what the roof is for. We ate here and they had a wide variety of food options from doubles, cook up, bake and salt fish and various curries paired with The best tasting roti I have had in a long time. “There used to be a restaurant in this exact spot called “HOT POT” . Hot Pot was literally by the far the most disgusting Jamaican food I’ve ever had in my life and I mean everything was nasty no matter what you tried so I’m not too sure if this store now is under the same management or it’s a completely different owner but the food is so much better than Hot Pot is and I’ve had different food from this place and everything has been good CONSISTENTLY. It’s fairly new and I hope that the quality never changes but as of right now ? I would definitely recommend this place to anybody . The Chef at Irie be doing their thing and it’s underrated right now maybe because of the bad experience from the previous Jamaican spot that used to be in the same exact spot but I promise you guys that it’s not the same quality as Hot Pot was and you won’t be disappointed ? and the customer service was good no attitudes like the typical Jamaican spots“

“I have been here quite a few times I love this little spot. However I finally gotten a bad waitress she lied about not having hot water to clean my silverware. I have stomach issues so I have to be extremely careful or ill have a terrible reaction. I instead used ice water and still had that terrible reaction I had to run out to puke was pouring sweat I was in between going to the er and trying to sleep off the pain I was in. I know next time to bring plastic wear or ask for a different waitress.“

They take their time because it is mouth watering. The drinks…. Well the first time I didn’t remember… but the second and third. Let’s just say it’s a good time all the time.“

“If I hadn’t peeked over the counter, I might never have realized this was a Jamaican restaurant. Aside from a few small Jamaican flags—which I didn’t immediately spot—the predominantly red signage doesn’t clearly reflect the Jamaican cuisine they offer.

That said, I thoroughly enjoyed my “small” portion of curry chicken with rice and peas, which many other places would probably consider medium-sized. Priced reasonably at $14.39, including a bottle of water, it was great value. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked, while the rice and peas were expertly prepared, with just the right touch of coconut to bring out the traditional flavors.

The server, Alicia, was both polite and engaging, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.
