“Stopped in here when I was real hungry and driving back from the Baseball Hall of Fame... food was great... I'd be back if I didn't live on opposite sides of Dutchess County.. if I walked more then 100 ft I'd be in Putnam/Fairfield County..

But my curiosity got best of me.... this plaza looked familiar.. Then I saw Fanns on side of building . I remember my friend got his first couch from Fanns Furniture back in 1990. Funny thing couch never made it to his new apartment he moved into... he had it in back of his pickup.. and on way back to Croton. We got stuck in a tremendous thunderstorm.. cover blew off the couch.. and by the time we got to his apartment his couch was ruined... Fanns refused to take it back.... so we just thru the couch in the Dumpster at his apartment..

“Got take out. Had the beef and broccoli combo. The beef and broccoli itself were pretty good. Tasty, good texture. The rice in the combo was pretty bland. Crab Rangoon was ok. They had chairs up and on the tables and full plexiglass dividing the kitchen and the counter. Reminded me of covid era....“

“It's a take out spot. There are one or two small tables but your pretty much going to take it to go. Be advised there is a credit/debit card minimum transaction but it's very reasonable. Within this milieu they do what they do very well. I've never gotten a bad order from them. The menus in this cuisine have become somewhat standardized so expect all the stuff you've come to love plus a few surprises. I personally love the dumplings. The family that owns it are total sweethearts. Many a night with crummy weather when I haven't felt like cooking this place has been a lifesaver. The menu is huge. Break out of your comfort zone and try something different. I have and I've never bern disappointed and found that my culinary horizons had been expanded beyond my usual same ole same ole. It's not a fancy sit down place but they are very good at what they do in this category.“

“My partner Justin and I went to Eng's as part of our Severance-filming-location trip. We actually got there way too early and stuck around the area, checking out little shops for hours before they opened and we are SO GLAD we did. We got there right when the dining room opened and were geeking out the whole time about the place - the lighting, the art that was left up in the scene in Severance, the awesome owner and waiter. It was all great. The mai tai was amazing as was the veggie lo mein and spare ribs. We can't wait to go back someday soon!! “It's winter time so I have been feeling very under the weather lately and was craving a wonton soup. Stopped into Hong Fu and was greeted by the very friendly staff there. I ordered a large wonton soup and a few other classic Chinese food restaurant dishes and everything was cooked right in front of me and was ready in 10 minutes as they said it would be. I definitely recommend this place for Chinese food to anyone in the Kingston area!“
