“Stopped in here when I was real hungry and driving back from the Baseball Hall of Fame... food was great... I'd be back if I didn't live on opposite sides of Dutchess County.. if I walked more then 100 ft I'd be in Putnam/Fairfield County..

But my curiosity got best of me.... this plaza looked familiar.. Then I saw Fanns on side of building . I remember my friend got his first couch from Fanns Furniture back in 1990. Funny thing couch never made it to his new apartment he moved into... he had it in back of his pickup.. and on way back to Croton. We got stuck in a tremendous thunderstorm.. cover blew off the couch.. and by the time we got to his apartment his couch was ruined... Fanns refused to take it back.... so we just thru the couch in the Dumpster at his apartment..

But I just wanted to say how great your food was“

“Got take out. Had the beef and broccoli combo. The beef and broccoli itself were pretty good. Tasty, good texture. The rice in the combo was pretty bland. Crab Rangoon was ok. They had chairs up and on the tables and full plexiglass dividing the kitchen and the counter. Reminded me of covid era....“

It is good enough in a bind, convenient location, but not my first choice locally.“

“I LOVE Sunshine! It’s our go-to place as we live in midtown. I’m vegan and they make me the most amazing steamed tofu and broccoli - I legit crave it during the week. My hubby often gets the shrimp moo shoo and our kiddo gets the chicken and broccoli and we all LOVE it. The owners are so friendly. AND it’s affordable, what’s not to love? We are so grateful to have them in our community! 😊“

They definitely changed up a bunch of stuff. The ribs, all you taste is fennel. The rice has an old nasty taste that was unbeatable! The dog walked away from it! The egg rolls were once again weird and nasty tasting. My sons generals Taos was so soggy. The only thing that were really good was the crab Rangoon. Unfortunately found out when we got it home. The flavors are amazing and you just taste the freshness too no day old fried wontons here! - the crab rangoons were crispy , full of flavor, with just the right amount of filling. I’m telling ya folks- this is THE SPOT to get your food from - super fast delivery / food was super hot - as if I was at the restaurant- portions are good size…. did I mention the sauces? “They are welcoming and courteous, Aaron always has a smile and always opens the door for anyone with mobility issues. I’m on crutches and he brings the food out to my car so I don’t have to struggle. The atmosphere is very nice.
The foods I recommend is, the vegetable dumplings pan fried, absolutely amazing.
I really enjoy the sweet and sour chicken, bonus if you get the dinner combo, you get a soup, eggroll, rice and a portion of chicken for $15
Aaron will also help you find the best option so you get the food you enjoy without a lot of extra fees
I enjoyed the fresh brewed ice tea, it’s strong, but if you like it a little weaker, they can add water.
Their crab ragoon is completely fresh with real crab, the sweet and sour sauce is freshly made as well
Over all the portions are large and they are very accommodating with substitutions
I travel over an hour to get here just for the food.“

“Hit or miss on the quality taste of food. Mostly spot on but sometimes they have a day off with quality. If you order online with their app don't expect the order to be filled. App says 25 mins, showed up ar the 25 min mark and waited in line for 20 mins to find out mine and the person behind me the order wasn't even filled/made. Had to wait another 15 mins and still charged full price! The woman behind me had sane issue as well“
