“This was my first time here and one of the workers recommended the blueberry lemon scone. I’m not usually a scone person but holy cow it was delicious! They were advertising the peach danish which was also very tasty. Im super impressed and can’t wait to try their other foods. “The cannolis here are INCREDIBLE... 10/10!!! The cookies are pretty good, too, as they are not overly sweet and go perfectly with coffee or tea. However, their mini cakes are not the best, which is why I'm docking a star. I ordered a mini tiramisu which was dry and seemed to have a frosting layer rather than a creamy mascarpone, which was disappointing. Overall, awesome bakery! I would just say to avoid the mini cakes.“

The staff member asked us to wait while they did the math and saw if there was any leftover. He so kindly brought the bagels and spreads to our car and was INCREDIBLY generous. I picked up a small strawberry shortcake (made with fresh strawberries) and it was a huge hit! Like other reviews mention, this is an “old school bakery” vibe, no frills, just a large variety of home made delicious treats and reasonably priced. I’d highly recommend to anyone in the area in need of a special order dessert, last minute needs, or just something really yummy to enjoy! ***cash only“

“I have been looking for a vegan bakery for the longest and finally stumbled upon Flourish Baking company. Sent an email and got a quick response from Diane. She was so kind, understanding and overall so helpful. The cake was delicious and the cupcakes as well!! “I’ve had better pies, but these are probably the best in the area. The fruit in everything is super fresh. It’s a cute lil bakery experience to visit. Would I wait on that long af line I’ve seen in the holiday photos? No. I’ve had better pie at Stop and Shop and ShopRite in Scarsdale. But I’d go back for the sheer variety in pies for sure.

The other offerings are great here, cookies, rainbow cookies, bread, Bundt cake, etc.

I want to settle an issue I’ve read about in these reviews. I ordered the jelly doughnuts just to see if it was even possible to suck the jelly out. It is DEFINITELY not possible to empty the doughnuts of jelly or even lick it out. I had five people try besides me. So, it seems like there are fluke experiences where, indeed, the doughnuts are NOT filled. I do not believe the customers should have faced blame for the barren doughnuts. May God protect you from such calamities.“

“So been here alot before i started writing reviews. In The Summer during the Thornwood car show, my parents and i can be seen eating their italian ices, which are very good. They also have cakes, pastries, and i believe i tasted my first almond horn from here, and it was good! Also once brought a pint to use for my 18th/Graduation party a few years ago. Inside, they do have chairs and tables where one can sit if they want.
Went here on Saturday August 10th 2024 while at the Thornwood car show with my parents. We were there to get italian ices. Staff was pleasant, and asked what we wanted right away. I got a Cotton Candy Italian ice, and my mom got lemon, and my dad got chocolate. We paid with cash, as they charge for using a credit card. Italian ices were very good! as we enjoyed them! We hope to be back soon!“
