“Went here for a Bacon Egg and Cheese. After tax with card it was $6 which was disappointing especially considering the lack of egg bacon and cheese compared to bread. The order came out fast and the guy who helped me was nice. It was a good sandwich but there are plenty of other places charging the same price or less for a much fuller sandwich that tastes just as good. I get the economy is bad but I’d rather the base sandwich be another ridiculous dollar more for a reasonable amount of fillings.“

“First time buying lunch here I ordered a turkey sandwich with lettuce , tomato, mayonnaise and oil & vinegar. Perfect portion and flavor not too bulky unlike other delis that put so much stuff in the sandwich you’d be overwhelmed. I pretty much ate all in one sitting. I have very sharp ears for some reason I heard him say something after I ordered I forgot to ask to toast the roll. So I saw him put the entire bread with mayonnaise lettuce and tomato on the grill. The guy looked a little grumpy or just his normal demeanor who knows I’ve never been there before lol. Sandwich roll price $9.75 plus tax came out $10.30.“

Sounded like they had forgotten to check it, I imagine the apps get way more traffic. The pastrami sandwich was 4.5/5, a good amount of meat, nice crispy edges, but maybe a hair too salty on some bites. Paired it with some home made spicy mayo and it brought it to 5/5. Definitely getting this again.The Italian was solid and provided loads of meat. We enjoyed it but personally would have liked a tad more oil and vinegar. We gave this a 4/5.Both sandwiches are so packed that they can easily be split up into 2 pieces (maybe even 3 depending on who's eating it). Sandwich was fine, nothing exceptional, light bacon, but it was $5 so no complaints. She put a lot of hot sauce which I like, some might not.

I asked how much it would be to add a hash brown and they said $3 extra. For a hash brown? Maybe they thought a side of hash browns or something idk but 3 bucks for a fried potato patty was kind of insane to me so I obviously skipped it.

Also, the coffee had so much milk. I asked for “just a little little bit of milk” while holding up my pinched fingers as I always do, and this coffee is creamy my dude.

While waiting for my order, an older Italian man came in and asked for a small coffee, and he said “please not too much milk just small milk” and the guy said ok but the Italian man said again, kind of intensely, please not too much milk. At the time I didn’t think anything of it, I was kinda like chill pops I think he heard you, but after sipping my coffee in the car I think the dude just puts way too much milk in the coffee and I get where Nonno is coming from.

Anyway random bodega I hit while passing through and needed a quick breakfast.

Got a double egg sandwich with cheddar cheese and ham with hot sauce (my go to egg sandwich - it's amazing how many places can't get it right!). As soon as I picked it up I knew it was going to be good. So, you can tell a cheap sandwich from a good one just by the weight. This one had some weight to it. One of the better egg sandwiches I've had in a while. All for less than 10 bucks with a coffee! The roll was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the cheese was dripping, the ham was good quality, and the sandwich was piping hot. From the time I ordered the sandwich to the time I got it it couldn't have been more than 4 minutes. The owner really knows what he's doing, is super friendly, and always has a smile on his face. The coffee was also very good. If you're in Pleasantville or Hawthorne or even at Westchester medical center and don't want hospital food, make sure you stop in here for a bite to eat. It's only 8 minutes from the hospital. Can't wait till the next time I'm in town to try something else.“
