J&G Deli is hands down the best Italian deli in the area! The place is spotless, the food is always fresh, and the service is top-notch. Huge shout out to Fausto, Hector, and the entire team—they always make you feel welcome. Their chicken cutlets are amazing, and all the Italian specialties are authentic and delicious. If you're looking for quality food and great service, this is the place to go!“

“The owner(scott) is what keeps people coming back. Just today while I waited Scott:

1. Gave back 20 dollars when a kid had overpaid thinking he paid 40 instead of 60.
2. A mom came in and paid for her order because her son had come in earlier that morning and picked up food without any cash.
3. Told two long time customers no charge - the deli accidently made the sandwhiches on rolls instead of heros so no charge. He had to force them to leave without paying.

This was all within 10 minutes. Hope this place stays in business for the next 100 years. The food is great, and they should do an article on him and this place.“

Customer service is extremely friendly and you feel right at home and with a great family vibe going on. “This is a great place to eat. It was slow so I sat by the window hoping business would pick and it did. A middle-aged couple came in with a puzzled look on their face, as though they were desperate for something to do.
The menu is large and in charge but I judge each deli by one dish and one dish alone, the chicken parm wedge. Is the bread fresh, is the chicken crispy, is the sauce homemade etc.? Sometimes a spot is constrained by its ability to both deliver and keep the price down; Summer Street Deli somehow figured this out. I ordered a Pedro Special and a Chicken Parm Wedge and spent $25 with tip. Not bad. The chicken parm was crispy, the sauce was sweet and the motz was tangy. The chili was also delicious with a touch of spice but not to little which infuriates me. I like a hot chili. Like a diet Merrit Canteen chili flavor, very good though.

But over all I like this little spot with lots of dining space that is roomy but maintains a classic feel without all this pretentious so called atmosphere that doesn’t require it’s presence in a neighborhood spot such as this. Definitely worth a look but don’t take your date here unless your married, it’s not that kind of place bro ;).“

“I stopped by on a whim on my way back home. I walked in there were 3 guys working there. I hate to forget names but I remembered Chris. They screw is funny and made my first trip there a good one. The owner and stuff were always helpful with choice and quantity we needed. They also accommodate special requests regarding allergies and dietary restrictions.
