“Reliably great food and friendly service!“

“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tap Room (Patchogue) (specifically the Patchogue location). We were invited to a family party, buffet-style. I reached out to the restaurant via email, because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my daughters food allergies -- eggs, soy, sunflower seeds, tree nuts and peanuts, or I would plan ahead and pack snacks she could safely eat instead. The Culinary Director, Joseph Walsh, called me the next day. He spoke to me for awhile, went over her food allergies, made some suggestions, and assured me that he would come up with something she could safely eat. The morning of the party, he sent me an email to confirm we were coming and his suggestions for a safe meal (rice and beans sauteed with bell peppers, chicken cutlet w/ no egg, and a mixed fruit salad). I emailed him back that just rice and beans and the fruit salad would be fine, because she doesn't eat chicken. He emailed me back, concerned that rice and beans and a fruit salad wouldn't be enough, but I assured him it would be fine because she's only 7 and has anxiety over trying new foods at restaurants (understandably), so sticking with rice and beans and fruit salad, which she's comfortable with, would be perfect. At the event, Joseph told my relative that he wanted to talk to us, and when we arrived, he came to introduce himself, told me that he was making sure everything was prepared separately and would be ready for her shortly. Absolutely fantastic service. We truly, truly appreciated all his care and effort, because that's sadly not the norm most of the time when we try to eat out. “I easily made my reservation on Open Table the same day. We were greeted with a smile from the hostess and Manager. We were seated immediately in the lovely patio. Our server, NATALIE, was kind, thoughtful, professional, patient and thorough. She checked on our beverages and food items periodically. Everything was prepared exactly to order and each item tasted great! We have been regular customers for a few months and the service and ambiance are always top notch!“

“Oh my goodness, my family went to Billie’s for Easter Dinner last night! The food was out of this world. Everything we got was spot on from the appetizers to the dessert! The service was amazing, and it didn’t cost an arm and a leg to enjoy a night out. I’m looking forward to going back when the weather is a bit warmer and eating on their back deck. I consider myself a bit of a foodie and this place was top-notch! Definitely give it a try. Oh, and it wasn’t packed like every other establishment town Port!“

The food is great and the atmosphere is great for roadside bar.I went for the food and was satisfied. Good food, good prices.“

“Arguably the best restaurant in Patchogue. Every menu item I have had there has been delicious. The chicken crust pizza truly sets them apart as it is something that is not offered anywhere else. It is a menu item that I look forward to having every time I visit there.

It has a vibe unto itself as it is a great place to watch a game at the bar (happy hour is Monday to Friday 4-7 pm) or take your family to enjoy a meal at a table.

The staff there is always amicable and welcoming. The staff is yet another reason as to why I keep going back there.“

“Went to Grumpy Jack's to celebrate my granddaughter's H.S. graduation. We were a table of 22, seated upstairs. Our waitress, Joelle, was amazing. She was working the entire restaurant. The downstairs and our group upstairs. She was very pleasant, professional, and did a great job handling everything herself. The food was so good. There are so many food options on the menu, it caters to everyone's tastes. Definitely recommend going there and we will definitely go back. Looking forward to it!!“

“This place just does it right! We keep stopping in and diving deeper into the menu and trying different things, we love all of them. Our 11 month old was with us this weekend and our server was awesome with him as well. Five stars for the food, the staff, the menu, the beer choices, and the local watering hole type of vibe the whole atmosphere has!“

“We had a great experience hosting a party at Legends. Everyone from the children to my 92 year old grandma loved it. The staff was a pleasure to work with and it was so easy to put the party together. The apps and the dinner food was delicious and the staff was so kind and helpful. I definitely will be recommending it to friends!“

“Recently celebrated our daughter’s 1st Birthday here. After researching many venues in the area we landed with the Grille. Jenn (the event coordinator) was extremely friendly, professional and informative from the moment I called her to inquire about the space. The venue is a dual space. You have the catering room as well as the bar area where there are pool tables and a dart board. Perfect for our guests in their 20s. The food and staff were amazing. I cannot rave enough about Amy, Jenn, Steve, Ernesto and Sabrina. They were all so helpful and accommodating during our event. Jenn was extremely attentive and made sure we had all our desires fulfilled, up until the morning of the party. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this establishment. Book them! You won’t regret it!“

“Tiki Joe's is a nice little beach front kitchen and bar. The food is good. A little pricey though. The bar is nice. Beautiful view of the Long Island Sound on the North Shore. A lot of speciality drinks/cocktails. They have bands that usually play on the weekends but you have to get there early. They stop playing by 9p.m. Other than that, overall decent spot.

“food is always big portions and usually very good! penne aka vodka is my favorite along with the wraps. they definitely need to work on the zucchini chips though which are more like medallions than chips lol so thick you can’t even bite through them.“

Parking: Use your GPS to find it, I could have never found it on my own. It’s a quiet little spot. Very busy on weekend nights during the summer!“

“This place is very welcoming and has a great vibe about it.We took a late ferry in December and arrived as most places were closing. The kitchen was open a little later and we were allowed to bring our small, well-behaved dogs inside. The bartender was super accommodating and friendly. And the food and beers were spot on.I would recommend this place for anybody looking for a nice and chill spot.“
