“The restaurant was quiet and unassuming and the waitress was on some kind of silent mode, but the food was properly cooked and served. The salmon lunch box was pretty good, although the salmon was a little bit sapid. the sushi rolls were fine too.“

“I highly recommend Mister Chen Express. I have been eating their food for 4 years now and it is without a doubt my favorite chinese food. But more than that I find that their Steam Pork Soup Dumplings and Pan Fried Pork Buns are better than most places. The people here are wonderful and have an eye for detail as well as being extremely friendly. I will continue to be a valued customer for years to come.“

“A nice buffet in Yonkers, right of Central Park Ave. so easy to access and since it’s in a plaza you’ve got plenty of parking. Not too big or as many offerings as other buffets but everything we had there was good, not to mention they’ve got an ice cream machine which is always a plus for me. Very clean, didn’t notice any spillage or old looking food, as they were turning it all over very quick since it was lunch time. Price was good, not sure if it was a lunch special but it was about 1 on a Friday. Will definitely be back for lunch another time“

“I went with a group of friends for my birthday last night. It was AMAZING. The service was great, everyone was so friendly. The place itself was so clean and cute, really cool vibe. The Apps were great, Hush Puppies and Fried Calamari, yum. I did a make-your-own Seafood Boil. OH MY GOD. The New Zealand Mussels, King Crab and Dungeness Crab was out of this world in the Cajun Butter Sauce. I HIGHLY recommend this spot and will be going back.“

“Parking is a BIG issue for this restaurant, just a suggestion for Valet services in the future. The food however was FANTASTIC..had the grilled ( not fried ) Calamari and the filet Mignon and lobster tail. Both were seasoned and cooked to perfection and served at the right temperature, portion size was generous. But most importantly the fish was not fishy smelling or tasting which means the quality of food is good. I will definitely go back on an off night to see if parking is any better.. but strongly suggest Valet.“

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“This place is a hidden gem. We were looking for place to make our go to spot. Once my foodie fiance tasted the catfish it was goto spot approved. The service is outstanding as they took very good care of us. The food is very tasty and nicely seasoned. We will be back.“

“Best fried or steamed fish you will ever have from a store front. And seriously maybe the cheapest. My go to is the fried flounder sandwich, $5 today, sometimes $6 cash for two huge pieces depending upon market price. They give you the tarter and lemon and tons of other condiments and spices to put on yourself, just how you like it, before they neatly wrap it up and bag it for you. I always tip them two bucks. Been coming and thankful for them for the last 25 years when they used to be a block south. There are similar looking joints but none nearly as consistently good as Dyre Fish is. I have tried so many, hoping. It is the oil they dont allow to be used too long and the fresh fish picked up daily at Hunts Point Fish Market. And the prices have barely gone up in all that time.“

“We had a great night at Lenny's Steakhouse with my wife and son. The restaurant was packed, yet the service was smooth and welcoming. Shpresa, the hostess and owner, runs the room beautifully and sets the tone for the entire experience. Calamari was incredible, some of the best I’ve had. Scallops were good, truffle fries delicious. The mains were nice but I personally preferred the appetizers.

“Love this place.the food is delicious and very affordable.i personally always get the 4 piece crab sticks with fried rice and 2 stuffed clams or the shrimp with fried rice and 2 stuffed clams. Everytime I go to eat here there is always a seat available, and the staff members are very well mannerable, and caring staff members. One time they gave a homeless man something to eat because they felt bad he was homeless,and hungry and could not afford a plate to eat. If no one noticed trust me I noticed and they will get blessed 10 fold... I recommend this place to all seafood lovers and chicken lovers as well.“

“Man, I love this place. Was recommended by a friend who knows the area well. Had never been before even though this is apparently an old school staple. Reminded me of some of the seafood places I went to as a kid on Long Island. The fish is fresh and delicious, well priced and well portioned. The sides are simple (e.g. sauteed spinach, baked potato, etc.) but well done. Loved the baked clams and chowder, too. Service is fantastic and incredibly accomplished-- can't speak highly enough of the staff. Can't wait to return!“

“Me and my boyfriend decided to come here for an early dinner (6pm) on Valentine’s Day. Even with no reservations they were able to seat us.
We both got a cocktail, two different sushi rolls, and entree. It honestly was a 10/10
To top it off we had the kindest waiter, JORGE was his name. Big thank you to him for making the experience so pleasant. We will definitely be back.“

“The service was fast, and the food was delicious. I had chicken tenders with fries, which came as gourmet as that sort of dish could be. Prices are extra high, though that's to be expected, this is Westchester. The one blemish on the experience is that it's diabolically loud in here- some of that can't really be helped because it's a small space and is often crowded.“

“This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Things were screwed up from beginning to end with absolutely no sense of apology or remorse. We had a 630 reservation, showed up on time, but we weren't seated until almost 7pm. The waiter came to our table for the first time at 720pm. We had researched the menu ahead of time to make sure there were kid friendly options, but since it was Mother's Day, they were operating with a different menu which is totally fine. We asked the waiter if they had any kid friendly food that wasn't on the menu and he said no and that all we can get is what's listed on the menu, so we went ahead and ordered. About 20 mins after we ordered, we saw that the kids at the table next to us were eating chicken fingers and french fries, so we asked the waiter why he didn't tell us about that option. He said that we didn't ask and he got a bit of an attitude about it. Luckily he was able to change our order and the kids got chicken tenders. We waited patiently for an incredibly long time for our food to come out, and at about 830, I got up and asked the waiter for an ETA on the food and he again gave me an attitude like I was ruining his night and he said "soon". The food came out about 2 minutes later, so we were hopefully going to get on with our evening. Upon further inspection, the chicken tenders that they delivered to my daughter were RAW. Not just slightly under cooked, completely raw, pink, cold chicken. We called the waiter over again and he again had an attitude when we sent the food back. Again, not even a hint of an apology to be found. When the chicken came back out, it was completely burnt, but we decided it wasn't worth the time to talk to the waiter about it again. At this point we had been at the restaurant for 2 hours with a 5 and 8 year old kid, so we just wanted to be done and get out. Again, at no point during this experience did a single person offer an apology or even show an ounce of remorse for how terrible the service was. They ruined my wife and mother-in-law's Mother's Day dinner and they should be ashamed to call themselves a restaurant. We are a local family, but we will never go back there again. I will also make it a point to tell everyone I know that Caffe Regatta is a terrible restaurant.“

“On December 12th my law office had their holiday luncheon at this wonderful restaurant. I also ordered a tray of meat lasagna for Christmas. If you have never had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant, I suggest you run - do not pass go - and get your butt there and eat the most delicous food on this planet. The chef created the meat lasagna - a simple dish - and elevated to something that just melts in your mouth with deliciousness. LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant!!“
