“To say this food is amazing is an understatement. However, the way they were able to make all the edges of the sesame chicken crispy and crunchy is beyond me. When people say they cook from the soul, this is what they mean. I have never tasted a dumpling in my life with the sauce that tasted more orgasmic in my life. Sorry not sorry but this Chinese food is an understatement and needs to be tried!“

“Fantastic shop! Moved to Rochester a few years ago and been trying to find our "regular" takeout place where everyone has their usual order, etc. like we had at our old place. Very pleased to say #1 is now that shop. This is THE takeout if you are looking for the gold standard "American-style" Chinese. 11/10 and the only place in the city I've found that has savory crab rangoons rather than sweet.

Also portions are absolutely gigantic and the price is easily one of the best in the city. Will probably eat here far more than I should.“

He ordered a buffet meal of Sesame Chicken, Beef & Broccoli, Chicken Lo Mein, Pork Fried Rice, Mixed Vegetables, also White Rice for approximately 25 people. “What I like about this place is that the food is consistent. I have been coming here for years and the food is prepared the same way. I recommend the garlic beef with the vegetables. They don't have sit in dinning so it's all take out.“

“The best Chinese this far south of Rochester. Sauces are robust, spices accurately spicy. Portions are generous, and a good mix of meat and veggies for dishes with both.

My only gripe is our last meal, both sesame and Tso's were overcooked to the point of being 100% crispy.

“This is my 2nd review of China Wok, they are just SO GOOD and consistent that I thought they deserved it! I hadn’t visited them since late last summer, and was wondering if it was still THE place to go for Chinese, or if that had changed…Well I’m happy to say that it hasn’t changed, the same people own and run the place, and the food is still GREAT! I usually get the chicken egg foo yung dinner (see photos) and I actually get 2 meals from 1 order because you get SO MUCH FOOD!
As you can see by the photos, it looks like quite a large plate, certainly VERY filling, but what you don’t know is that THIS IS ONLY 1/2 OF THE FOOD THAT YOU GET! And VERY REASONABLE when it comes to price…As a matter of fact l, there are over 10 dinner combinations that you can order, and they are all just over $10…Where else can you get so much and pay so little?? And the family that owns and runs it are GENUINELY SO NICE AND APPRECIATIVE, they literally light up when they see you!! I don’t go anywhere else! Try it SOON!!

“The location is in a low-key plaza, but when you step into the restaurant, you can tell this place was newly renovated. We got the scallion pancake as an appetizer which was decent, good but nothing special. If you can handle spice, I highly recommend the Mala rice noodle with sliced beef, 10/10. We also got the tonkatsu ramen, which apparently is their most ordered dish, but I think there's other better dishes to try. I will be back to try more!“

“Food is delicious! Only Chinese place I've found where you can get a meal combo with your main and low-mein instead of rice. I ordered online. Food was ready fast, was super hot when I picked it up, and stayed hot on the way home. There's enough food for 2-3 meals in one combo. Pork egg rolls are great! Wish I lived closer and could come back more often.
