“Love this little diner. Food is awesome, service is fast and this place is always crowded. We tried to get here by nine and it was packed at that time. We did get a table and if you'd like, you can sit at the 'bar,' a long line of stools attached to a long table kind of like at a bar. They take cash or credit, phone orders for pick up. Cozy, nice atmosphere, kind of loud at times. I had the Mediterranean omelet, my kids had different variations of eggs, bacon or sandwiches and my husband had an Irish Eggs Benedict.“

“Founders Café is a Rochester treasure. AMAZING food - everything on the menu is great, even if I tend to get the same thing most visits because I love their salads so much. But everything else - quiche, sandwiches, baked goods - are all phenomenal. Very friendly service and we're definitely always made to feel at home. Love it here.“

“I met up with a friend for lunch. I had a burger. He had the Tuna Melt. The service was excellent, as always. Our bartender knows us as regulars, so knew pretty much what we'd have.The food was fine, although I'd love to see some new items on the menu. Or bring back the Blackened Chicken or Chicken Caesar wraps.I'm looking forward to my next visit!“

“This place is amazing! Everything from start to finish was perfect. My wife and I went to celebrate our 23 anniversary and they made our night memorable. Our waitress Jenna was amazing, knowledgeable and just a great person. Her recommendations were spot on and she really made us feel welcomed. We started dinner with a couple of mixed drinks and the charcuterie board which the board was a perfect grouping of meats and cheeses. Then we moved onto the meal. My wife ordered the lobster Mac and cheese which rivaled similar we had in Boston fresh from the ocean. I ordered the NY strip with sweet potato hash. This dish blew my mind. The dish was such an amazing take on comfort food and showed the out of the box thinking and knowledge they have with preparing there dishes. This place is just on another level but still feeling down to earth and welcoming. They even surprised us with a complimentary dessert which was delicious. We then moved to the bar to enjoy Jenna's recommended Game Set Matcha mixed drink which we bought many of. The owner visited us at the bar to check in with how our evening he was amazing as well. We will be going back for sure I can't wait to try all the other dishes on the menu. I highly recommend this place we went early and got a reservation. The place stayed busy most the evening.“

“I was only in there one time, but I was treated very, very well. The woman that worked there said she had been working there for quite some time. She was an excellent conversationist. And I liked the fact that they have a separate smoking room. Because I don't smoke and I would not even be in there if they did smoke but the atmosphere was great. The people were great and the chicken wings were very, very good. I ought to know. I used to have my own restaurant called Ron's famous wings. And I won several awards for my chicken wings back in the day.So thank you everybody for being such a great host.And I will be back again 1 day.I only live walking distance from you“

“My husband and I are soooo glad we stopped here. Tripadvisor reviews showed this place has great service; and they were not wrong. Great service, with personable staff - which makes a place all worth it! The food was really good as well. I do recommend the burgers (as mine was cooked perfectly to my liking). Overall, I'm thrilled with this little pub and would stop here again and again were I in the area. And really, chat up the hosts...such great ppl!“

“On a hot summers day with two young kids, a drink was needed. The drink specials were artisanally crafted. The dinner menu was well executed and best of all there was in door and outdoor seating. The kids loved it and best of all I loved it.“

“This place is great. There is only one person taking care of the bar and restaurant but he did a great job of managing both. I eat here everytime I stay in Rochester and the food and beer are always wonderful. I really enjoyed the Mahi tacos and the Jambalaya plate. I would definitely recommend.“

“Excellent restaurant for anyone who is gluten intolerant! Basically everything on the regular menu is on the separate gluten free menu. They have really unique GF options that I haven't had anywhere in Rochester, like a GF fish fry and GF fried pickles. I think the non-gluten free people in my party felt like the food was typical bar/grill quality food, but as the GF person in the party, I thought the food was amazing and didn't taste like it was even made GF.I cannot speak to how safe it is for celiacs, but I felt safe and my plate was even marked as an "allergy" dish with a little marked toothpick.I will definitely get food from here again, if it is just take out!“

“Henrietta location: As usual, the wings are fantastic. Shrimp tacos are good, too. A special note to the bartender, the Margheritas were fantastic. Please do not change the recipe. Also, on Fridays, I was told they offer a classic Rochester style fish fry. Have not tried it yet.“

“Love the food (American style pizza) love the beer selection (lots of northeastern craft brews), love the atmosphere (laidback wear whatever, be polite), friendly and attentive staff. Just wish they would update the HVAC so I don’t smell like a pizza when I leave. I stop here regularly at least once a month.“

“Just moved into the area, and have eaten here twice for dinner. The first night I had Grandma's baked meatloaf, I think it was called, and it was delicious. The second night I had the fish fry, and that was also really good. My brother had the leg of lamb, and he said that that was also very good. The food almost tastes homemade, and there is a lot on the menu. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend the Olympia.“
