“By far one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to! Excellent service- food made to order. Chicken Scarpiello was so flavorful with a lot of garlic, herbs and a touch of lemon. Penne Ala Vodka one of the best I have ever tasted! Chicken Verde was so tender it melted in your mouth!!“

“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

I have lived here for over 30 years; just go to Pezzi Pizza! You can bring it home and save it for the next day's as they serve good and large portions. I am on strong medication and sometimes my taste changes as a side effect from medication- but eating the meat balls, pasta dishes, soups and salads help to keep my spirits up! And the food is always fantastic and never sacrifices on flavor. The side dishes of spinach have been one of my favorites as well as the beet salad. I have eaten almost everything on the menu over the years, and I am thankful for the Pezzi family not only for their kindness to my situation over the years but the care they have for every customer and the care they place on the quality of the food they serve.
They are wonderful people and I wish them continued success always. I am Thankful to have known them and have them in my life as I consider them my honorary family. “The location of this store is perfect and the food is always great. That being said service can be hit or miss, for lack of better wording. I find that though everyone is always friendly you may find ingredients missing or scarce in the warm bowl or salad that’s been ordered. There may be a lot of turn around in employees so that could account for the discrepancy.“
