“Ate at the restaurant back in July 2025. They were struggling. Decided to try it again tonight. We met Michael the manager. He has this place dialed in. The food was off the hook. Drinks outstanding. The staff very attentive. I had to go outside to check the sign make sure I was in the right place. Atmosphere was great and the establishment was family friendly. Rumor has it they'll be offering brunch in three weeks. I plan to return with my sister and brother in law. I'm happy to report the White Whale is back and better than ever. Well done Michael!!!“

“Yesterday was the first time I have been to Popei’s. What a great night! From the moment we walked in the owner/chef greeted us. We sat outside in the tent with the great musician. He was very interactive, took requests. People were singing along, It’s was very enjoyable. It was very clear our waitress, Janice was extremely busy but also very thorough careful and caring. It’s obvious she cares about what she is doing and works very hard. Upon my ordering, I mentioned a food allergy Janice double checked that things were OK before she submitted the order. 2 other people came to verify before cooking my meal. The food was SO GOOD! Big portion sizes. Gave my mother dessert to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic night. We will be back. My only suggestion would be when the musician is taking a break to lower the background music. When he wasn’t singing, the music was still incredibly loud and we had difficulty hearing each other at the table.“

“First of all just want to say the lobster bisque and New England clam chowder are both amazing. My family and I have tried pretty much everything here and never disappointed.
They make there own juices and desserts. So it’s fresh just like the food. Everything cooked when ordered.
It’s small but the food, cleanliness and great service is what matters to me family.“

“Stopped here on a Sunday night as they were about to close they were pretty much out of everything. Kerry Ann was kind enough to make us some fresh fried fish and chicken topped it off with some extras. Super amazing customer service. Their coconut drops and peanut cake reminded me so much of back home, jamaica. Overall I had a great experience and will definitely stop by if I'm ever in the area.“

“A true hidden gem of a restaurant, with spacious open seatings, amazing interior lighting and decorations, polite and super curteous staff / manager, a unique delicious seasonal menu, and Very Very competetive priced dinner menu.
Truly Very Competetive prices, don't believe me, check out their menu.
I ordered wood grilled kona lamb. The dish was prepared to perfection, well served and delicious.
Considering the location and area, if you are seeking a classy restaurant with amazing atmosphere, seasonal delicious menu, and yummy choices then I highly, highly recomend this restaurant.
And don't miss out on their shot glass, gorgeous desert menu.

They are very welcoming and very nice. They will let you sample different menu options and not spoonful samples but real samples. They are very nice and I’m so proud of their success. My go to is the whiting, which is the real whiting not the frozen bagged one. Also, the new clam strips and new fries are amazing!!! And the fried okra, chefs kiss. Really great restaurant, you can’t go wrong.“

“For some reason, I had a yen for Shrimp & Cheesy Grits.I started hunting online and came upon ALL SEA Seafood in UNIONDALE. 5 minutes from my house!! I called and left my order. I picked it up 20 minutes later and I was TOTALLY STUNNED @ the quality of my dish! The plentiful shrimp were FRESH, plump, moist and loaded w/ flavor!! The cheesy grits were OUTTA SIGHT!!! “This is one of my favorite seafood places. The food is flavorful, a lot of different sauces. They have plenty of options to choose from. I do like for a small fee you an add lobster. If you have a craving for seafood, try this place at least once. Go early before the crowd.“

“Love this place. Been to it a couple of times and the pizza is amazing. The Garlic Knots Slider were good but not great and at $11 not worth it. The pizza though is incredible. Really good Sicilian speciality slices.

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

“1st time trying a Capital Grille. Came to celebrate my birthday with my wife. Reservations are a must at this place as it can get busy and even with a reservation they may ask you to wait till seats are available.

From the moment you are seated, the staff make sure you are taken care of. They are patient, knowledgeable, and dedicated. Our server Nicholas and the managing partner Richard ensured that whatever you were celebrating, you would feel special. Highlights of the meal included a wonderful birthday card with decorated table, well created drinks, the lobster bisque, 48oz porterhouse steak, the lobster Mac and cheese, velvety mashed potatoes, and the scalloped potatoes (which most places I've been to don't even offer). Seeing I was curious about dessert, they even offered a complimentary sample of 2 mini desserts and allowed me to order the main dessert separately if I wanted. Nothing felt pushy, rushed or fake. Only lull in service was regarding waiting for check. Definitely will be coming back to see if this place hits the right notes again. Thank you all for a wonderful night.“

“We had such a lovely evening at Philia. The drinks were excellent. Everyone loved all the food we ordered. Chicken Kebabs were delicious and fresh. Mykonos shrimp was also very tasty and perfectly portioned. Lamb chops were a highlight of the meal as well. We had a birthday in our group and they were so kind to sing happy birthday with dessert. I normally don't care for cheesecake but wow the cheesecake here is amazing. Overall pleasantly surprised and satisfied with our meal and service. We will definitely be back!“
