“Yesterday was the first time I have been to Popei’s. What a great night! From the moment we walked in the owner/chef greeted us. We sat outside in the tent with the great musician. He was very interactive, took requests. People were singing along, It’s was very enjoyable. It was very clear our waitress, Janice was extremely busy but also very thorough careful and caring. It’s obvious she cares about what she is doing and works very hard. Upon my ordering, I mentioned a food allergy Janice double checked that things were OK before she submitted the order. 2 other people came to verify before cooking my meal. The food was SO GOOD! Big portion sizes. Gave my mother dessert to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic night. We will be back. My only suggestion would be when the musician is taking a break to lower the background music. When he wasn’t singing, the music was still incredibly loud and we had difficulty hearing each other at the table.“

“Stopped here on a Sunday night as they were about to close they were pretty much out of everything. Kerry Ann was kind enough to make us some fresh fried fish and chicken topped it off with some extras. Super amazing customer service. Their coconut drops and peanut cake reminded me so much of back home, jamaica. Overall I had a great experience and will definitely stop by if I'm ever in the area.“

“Food is amazing 5/5 every time. Everything is made fresh and they get a lot of business which means you’re going to be waiting sometime. But, they do take online and phone orders. They are very welcoming and very nice. They will let you sample different menu options and not spoonful samples but real samples. They are very nice and I’m so proud of their success. My go to is the whiting, which is the real whiting not the frozen bagged one. Also, the new clam strips and new fries are amazing!!! And the fried okra, chefs kiss. Really great restaurant, you can’t go wrong.“

“We ended up here because there was a two hour wait next door at Buoy Bar. It is great atmosphere- lively on the water. It is interesting service, you order and they bring the food to your table. You have to wait for table to open, but it didn’t take long(five minutes). Overall we enjoyed the experience and felt like we were away.“

“Food was good here. Authentic dim sum stuff. However, there isn't a lot of variety to choose from, like how it normally is in most dim sum restaurants. Service was very good. Friendly staff. I'd come back because it's around the way, but I'd have to drive a little further to get a wider variety.“

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

“I went to Beach BBQ and satisfied would be an understatement. Upon arrival I was greeted by staff at hat engaged as if we were family or old friends. I reviewed the menu and settled on the Dragon Glazed Salmon Mac and cheese and candied yams. The meal and service was superb. I highly recommend this spot ! Don’t walk Run to this restaurant!!“
