“From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, this restaurant was amazing. Monroe’s offers a cozy feel, with amazing staff and welcoming smiles. We started out with drinks and appetizers. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us to delicious appetizer choices. I had the eggplant rollatini special and my dad had the clams orreganata. I order items with vodka sauce quite frequently and this was the best I have ever had. It was smooth and creamy with amazing flavor! The homemade focaccias bread was delicious and airy, the perfect piece of bread to soak up the remainder of the sauces from our appetizers (because it was too good to leave a single drop). For dinner I ordered the skirt steak, medium rare. The marinade was sensational, and the skirt steak cut like butter! It was cooked to perfection. Even the vegetables and potatoes it came with were delicious. My dad ordered the penne Ala vodka and added chicken cutlet to the dish. He couldn’t stop raving about it. We were so full after our appetizers and main entrees, but the dessert menu was too tempting. We shared a slice of the raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness, if you like cheesecake, order this! They make it in house and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our dining experience. I paired it with a cappuccino. Monroe’s doesn’t disappoint, even to the last detail. My cappuccino had a cute cinnamon heart on top. Overall, Monroe’s was truly a delightful and pleasant experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family!“

“We had another wonderful experience at Capital Grille. From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted by the manager Rick, who escorted us to our table. He assigned an attentive waiter (Turon) who took great care of us throughout the meal. Another manager, Amy, also checked on us, was very warm and friendly, and we had a great conversation with her. All the food was delicious and we appreciated the chef making something we liked that isn't on the menu. He generously treated us with a yummy amuse-bouche. Overall we had another outstanding visit. The service and food are so great it keeps us coming back.“

“I enjoyed a Friday night dinner there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bartenders were very attentive.
The dining room is small,outdoor seating and seating at the bar is available.

They are able to open the large windows in the front of the restaurant and gives an all around al fresco dining experience. It was a very warm day, and I would have preferred air conditioning but it was still nice.

I didn't have a reservation, but was able to sit at the bar. Which was very nice.

They have a good drink menu with nice cocktails and a good selection of wines and beers. I went with a Peroni.

The menu is small but the is a great selection. The roasted chicken wings were delicious, the Uncle Frank's Pizza and the Meatball Pizza were excellent!

I will go back to Uncle Franks but will remember to make a reservation.“

“We worked the same event yesterday and I knew right away I would be visiting them for my lunch! So amazing and the ladies were super friendly! “We dined at the Majors Restaurant in East Meadow. Dinner was delicious. I have no complaints about that. Here is my issue. Little, but it’s the principle. My husband ordered a cup of coffee after our $158 Dinner. The coffee came and when he put milk in it, I noticed it was really dark. I tasted it. WOW it was burnt, old & muddy. I called the waiter over and asked for a new brewed cup of coffee. He came back with a cup from the SAME pot. Normally I would of just moved on & left it. But when the bill came we were charged $3.50. For 1 cup of burnt coffee? Sorry it was the principle. If you are going to charge your clients $3.50 for a cup of coffee, invest in a Keurig where every cup is fresh. You make a great margin per cup?“
