“We visited on Saturday evening during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. From the moment we entered through the front door, we were welcomed by big smiles, big smells of delicious food, and what felt like a warm hug from a good friend. Classic and palette awakening cocktails. Try the brandade fritters and the best Caesar salad I have ever enjoyed. Sea bass was fresh out of the waters that surround the east end. The burger and the roasted chicken. For sides we ordered the onion gratin, romanesco and French fries. Surprise banana split for dessert. Delicious! See you again soon. Happy Holidays!”

“Great find! On a chilly winter night Nookies provided the perfect last minute (a rare occurrence, I believe) dinner for two with cool easy vibes and really yummy warming food.
Fun retro decor and neat off the beaten path spot in Southold area.
We also got a nice quick little tour of the motel and would love to stay here on our next visit out!
Will definitely be back!”

“My husband and I had lunch at The Southold Mediterranean Restaurant a few days ago and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the owner very friendly. The lambchops were really good and we plan on returning there soon.”
“Perfect experience. My wife and I loved our selections. The owner, Tom, stopped by to say hi, which was a really nice touch and what a great guy. Cheers.”
“Finally stopped in after meaning to for over a year and we are so glad we did!! Cute inside space with light atmosphere. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer choices. We tried two flights and liked 7 of the 8 we tried. Will definitely be back to try more. They also have an outdoor seating area but it was too cold the day we went.”

“Great for vegetarians and vegans. It was really good. It’s tiny inside. This is like a great quality Mexican inspired diner. I will totally go again. It’s fast paced inside, and they are on it.
I had one of the best vegetarian meals I’ve had in a long time. They do a lot of take out orders, I might do that next time because they are very busy and I don’t want to be rushed to finish my meal.
Vegetarian options: Great for vegetarians and vegans!!”

“Best meal in Greenport! Chef Umberto was very attentive and sent out some great starters. The Schnitzel was amazing and my family enjoyed their meal. Brendan the manager was also checking in. Highly recommend !”
“It is one of the best and most upscale wineries on Long Island. The wine selection is very large with some great roses, whites and reds. They also have a very delicious sake cider. The service was also great and the view was beautiful. We are red wine lovers and loved their Cabernet and Franc. Their signature rose is also delicious.”
“A Hidden Gem on Long Island: One Woman Winery
Long Island’s North Fork has long been known for its wineries, but One Woman Winery stands out as a true treasure, capturing the heart of wine enthusiasts with its exceptional vintages, authentic charm, and unparalleled hospitality.
Unlike many large-scale operations, One Woman Winery embodies the essence of a family-run business. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with warmth that feels like you’re stepping into a cherished family tradition. The cozy tasting room is often staffed by the founder’s daughter, whose knowledge, passion, and friendly demeanor elevate the experience. She takes the time to guide each guest through the story of the winery, the unique terroir, and the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into every bottle.
Speaking of the wine—wow. Long Island’s wine scene is increasingly crowded, but One Woman Winery’s offerings are a cut above the rest. Their focus on small-batch production means every sip is a revelation. From their crisp, mineral-driven whites to the complex, elegant reds, every wine tells a story of dedication and authenticity. If you’re lucky, you might even try one of their limited releases, which perfectly showcase the winery’s ability to make art in a bottle.
What truly sets One Woman apart, however, is its customer service—a rare gem on the East End these days. Many wineries in the region seem to have let their standards slip, prioritizing quantity over quality when it comes to guest experience. Not here. At One Woman, guests are treated with care, attention, and genuine hospitality. Whether it’s a detailed wine recommendation or a simple, welcoming smile, the team consistently goes above and beyond to make every visit unforgettable.
If you’re looking for a winery that delivers more than just great wine—a place where you feel valued, inspired, and a part of something special—One Woman Winery is an absolute must-visit. It’s a beacon of quality and tradition in the heart of Long Island wine country, and its dedication to excellence will keep you coming back for more. Cheers to the family and staff who has made this place so extraordinary!”

“This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The martinis were perfect and our waiter, Ernesto was very attentive to every detail. In addition to the extensive menu the numerous daily specials all sounded amazing. We choose the rib eye special and the octopus, both fantastic and the baklava like everything else was out of this world! Don't miss this place!!!”

“While visiting Greenport, I stumbled upon this charming café and instantly fell in love. Their bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich paired with a cinnamon bun became my go-to breakfast combo, and the coffee? Absolutely amazing.. smooth, strong, and perfectly balanced.
But let’s talk about their croissants! I tried the ham and cheese croissant, and it was next-level. Topped with everything bagel seasoning, it was perfectly flaky on the outside and soft on the inside... a total game-changer. Do not miss this one; it’s seriously special.
The staff was warm and friendly, and the cozy decor made it feel so inviting. I noticed they had donuts, but they were sold out when I visited. (Apparently, they make a limited batch each day, so getting there early is key!) It’s one of those places that feels like a hidden treasure—hard to leave and even harder to forget. If you’re in Greenport, this café is a must-visit!”
