“I went with my sister-in-law who LOVES this place and can't be in the area without stopping by. We were having some challenges in our family and came for lunch while between hospital visits with family members. The service was great and we got our food fast (for take out) after ordering. It was yummy and perfect. All of their empanadas are good. You really can't go wrong with any of them.“

There's definitely something for everyone's taste from meat, side dishes, salads to even hamburgers.The plate sizes are ample & full of flavor. “Came to write my review so fast. Chicken tacos were delicious. I got them doordashed and they were still so hot, double wrapped with a soft corn shell so they didn’t get soggy, and then individually wrapped in tin foil. I appreciate this level of care because tacos can get messy. The chicken was tender and juicy and the flavors were on point, and the tacos were filled well for the price! Highly recommend“

“Great place for a quick home made Salvadorian food. I come here often with colleagues and always happy with the food choices. Fresh yellow rice with pernil ( gotta try with crunchy skin) , ox tails, salmon and goat stew if you go on right day. Portions are huge and staff are always so friendly! Love this place !“

“Family owned, the empanadas I ordered from Island Empanada were absolutely divine. The service was quick and the people were more than friendly. Their selection was large and I could tell that every empanada was prepared on-premise. The quality of the meat was superb. I go here every so often when my stomach desires something delectable.
