“I've drank a lot of really good DIPAs, IPAs from Tree House, Fidens, Alchemist, Foam, etc. Decided to stop on way home from Belleayre gave the I Dream in Blue DIPA a try. It competes with Tree House "Super Treat" nice up front candied taste and a mellow back end not a bitter/hoppy feel at all.”

Located approximately 1/2 mile just west of the town's overcrowded tourist center on Tinker St., my wife and I had a lovely, quiet dinner last week in a relaxed, comfortable setting: ample table and chair space, superb burgers and chicken soup, and gracious service.

“Mountain Gate has the best Indian food in the Hudson Valley by far, probably even the entire state. Absolutely love coming here! The chicken vindaloo is always my go-to dish, and my husband loves the shrimp curry. Food is always fresh and just spicy enough. Beautiful decor and super friendly waitstaff. I would definitely recommend Mountain Gate to anyone looking to soothe their Indian food craving.”

I especially appreciate it because I have been virtually unable to eat for a long time towards the end of my pregnancy and it has difficult getting back into eating postpartum. But my curiosity got best of me.... this plaza looked familiar.. Then I saw Fanns on side of building . I remember my friend got his first couch from Fanns Furniture back in 1990. Funny thing couch never made it to his new apartment he moved into... he had it in back of his pickup.. and on way back to Croton. We got stuck in a tremendous thunderstorm.. cover blew off the couch.. and by the time we got to his apartment his couch was ruined... Fanns refused to take it back.... so we just thru the couch in the Dumpster at his apartment..
