“We are extremely happy we chose this venue for our son's and daughter-in-law's Rehearsal Dinner (50 people) and Welcome Drinks (70 people) the night before their wedding. Kathleen, the proprietor, was a pleasure to deal with and was helpful with the planning. The staff was accommodating and delightful; everyone said their food was delicious and enjoyed the festive atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant for casual dining and special events!“

“Last night, for my birthday, we had what I have to call a perfect, and perfectly delicious meal. You can’t take a picture of an experience, but if there were a way, we would have tried. My fettuccine Bolognese was a detailed joy, yielding a world of varied delights in every bite. Even the radicchio and endive salad… one of those textured, flavorful events where you close your eyes and savor every each mouthful. I could go on and on… but I’m still busy savoring. Gorgeous setting, roomy comfort, delightful servers and employees… and the bank does not break. You’d pay 100 or 150% more in the city to even come close.“

I ain't never been inside, but I’ve had the takeout plenty of times. It’s a lil' pricey, but the food’s straight. Just don’t be lazy with your order—if you want it hot, cold, or with extra sauce, say it. Otherwise, you might get some wild surprise that ain't it.

Now, listen, that strawberry shortcake? That joint slaps. I’m not even a dessert guy, but that right there? Fire. If it’s your first time, let ‘em know and they’ll treat you like you’re family.

Overall, I’m giving it 4/5. They hit you with extra sauces, napkins, and utensils like they actually care, which is a rare W.

Ruby Tuesday in Middletown, NY is wonderful and not just the salad bar!! Server Vikki is a delight to have take care of us. She is always pleasant, friendly, kind. Always has a smile on her face. She makes you feel at home and it is so appreciated. Everyone honestly is wonderful at this location but Vikki just goes above and beyond.

“We found this brewery on our trip home off of Route 17. It is such a great Brewery! The place is very cool! It has a ton of indoor seating, a large outdoor beer garden, and a game room! My son loved it! The food was really, really good, the pumpkin beer was tasty, and the bartender/owner was welcoming! If we are ever in Middletown again, we will be back! So far Middletown breweries are 2 for 2! Equilibrium is great too!“

“We have eaten here many times and love it so much! The ingredients are super fresh, the flavors and combinations are expertly put together, and the owner is a true showman who clearly loves the food and sharing it with the community. The danish dog is my favorite, and my husband loves the Italian sausage with onions. Even the basic chili dog is better than average, and his inventive sauces add so much flavor to the dogs that they can’t be replicated anywhere else. The building is small and it’s crowded and dingy and sometimes smoky inside, but we truly feel that it adds to the charm and makes the experience even more unique. Just go - you’ll be so glad you did!“

Parking: You cannot see the pub from the street. You can miss the entrance to the driveway if you have a problem with paying attention.

I never pay cash because if I pay cash unless its exact amount I can forget about getting back any coin change. They round it off to the nearest dollar always to their benefit. “we were on our honeymoon with my wife and some relatives took us to this place to try the typical Neapolitan pizza and other local specialties..
Having also been in the restaurant business and a pizza chef for many years, I can say that it is not easy to find a pizzeria in America and above all such good pizza, truly heartfelt congratulations..
The staff is very kind and friendly, it feels like family.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to have a great experience in an American pizzeria.

“The sandwiches here are fantastic, unfortunately this would be a five-star review but their coffee there was so strong/bitter that it was undrinkable and when I told my server that she told me that she has heard that from many other patrons as well, it upsets me when a place that has this quality food cannot produce a proper cup of coffee and if this is not something new they should do something to rectify it. This place has really great side salads and many other great beverages that you can enjoy but I was hoping for a good cup of coffee and unfortunately, it just missed the mark. I would still highly recommend this place for one of the best eateries in Middletown New York, and would go back again.“

“When you first walk in, the decor is very chic and modern. The bar and wait staff were excellent, the menu was very diverse and the food was exceptional! Starting with appetizers and mixed drinks, I highly recommend the empanadas (cheese, chicken and beef). All of our drinks during the evening were not shy on the alcohol and were expertly mixed. The entrees were delicious... In particular the spaghetti and meatballs was out of this world. I would go as far as saying they were the best meatballs I have had... unbelievably flavorful, light and airy. Desserts were another win... The creme brulee was spot on and I could eat the bread pudding every day. Overall , it was an outstanding dining experience and I highly recommend the establishment!“

“We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon and we were one of two customers in the restaurant. We waited at least 45 minutes for our meal. We didn’t complain because we were having a nice leisurely day apple picking. The food finally arrived my beans were watery as if they were cooked in water with no seasoning. OK I let it go because if the beans were the only thing wrong with the meal that’s not bad right. My husband got to the second half of his brisket sandwich and the brisket was petrified (Not my word I got it from another reviewer were but it fits perfectly). At this point we obviously mentioned some thing to our waitress. She agreed that the meat was not OK and said she would contact her manager who is not on location. She then came back and said the owner Laura who is the manager too who she called said she would give us 10% off. My husband was blown away by this response. He said it was a smack in the face which I completely agree. I then proceeded to add on all the rest of the issues we had that we did not say a word about at first. After the real issue that we wanted resolution from this is how they handled it? Are you kidding? Wait get ready for the best part. The bill came and they took 10% off of my husband‘s meal we got $1.60 off!!! Can you actually believe it? This restaurant is managed poorly and should go out of business. We spent $150 on a terrible lunch.“
