Ice Cream Shops near Somers

“We love Frannie’s. The whole family is excited every time we take ourselves there for a treat.

The staff has always been attentive and kind.

The yogurt is delicious and the toppings are fresh with a great variety of options for both.“

“It’s an exciting and fun place.“

“Great service and ice cream!“

“The flavors were excellent—especially the mango, which was fresh and vibrant. Each option we tried was delicious. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially to our big group, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend!“

“Food is always amazing, and I will never stop going there, but one thing confuses me. Every time I order a gluten free meal for takeout, there is a giant hunk of bread in the bag. With the gluten free meal. After calling and indicating a gluten allergy. So my wife has to remove the bread and clean the container before I can eat. It's worth the trouble, but it seems like a no-brainer that when someone orders gluten free, there shouldn't be bread in the bag.“

“You may be thinking that all Carvel locations are alike, but they're not. I have visited many Carvel locations in many states, and this one (fortunately my "home" Carvel store) is the best. The soft ice cream is consistently dense and smooth, never runny, and they have a large selections of hard ice creams and sherbets, all of which are delicious. Portion sizes are generous. The staff is friendly and helpful. Never disappointed with anything from this place.“

“Delicious ice cream. Excellent menu choices. There’s no place like King Kone!“

“First time here. 80 degree weather. All of a sudden a line. Bam, 4 workers at the window helpful and pleasant. That’s my kinda of business. Kudos to the owner. Enjoyed the ice cream. Clean area. What more could a customer ask for. I’ll be back!“

“Great local place- dependably delicious!“

“Love the milk shakes here. Just a quality fun place that makes you smile. Enjoy.“

“The best. I love the ice cream and the location is one of the most beautiful spots in Westchester.“

“Great ice cream and so so so many flavors to choose from! Def will be back 🙂“

“Pictures don’t do justice to how well made these waffles are.
They taste as good as my favorite waffle spot in Brussels 🇧🇪
The smiles behind the waffle maker were just as good as a toppings! I do recommend for your next private or corporate event!“

“The unicorn ice is amazing!“

“Our favorite Carvel by far! The staff is wonderful, always helpful, patient and very accommodating to special requests! The service is great! The store is very clean and they serve quality ice cream and beautifully decorated cakes (they can make pretty much make any design/style you want). Another plus- convenient hours and location. The best ice cream shop around!“

“Really good tacos and milkshakes!“

“I came in the other day to buy a last minute birthday cake for my mother. This sweet young lady named Gianna was there and wrote happy birthday mom in the neatest handwriting. She even added cute balloons! the customer service is amazing and the cake was even better!“

“No better place to reward yourself after a vigorous bike ride on the North County Trail way. Where else can one get Cooke Monster flavored ice cream and the best smoothies in Westchester County? A super friendly staff adds to the fun.“

“Food is delicious, service is a bit slow but it’s worth the wait I promise. Lots of yummy opinions and prices are good. They also have a buffet style service if you are in a hurry on you want something quick to go. Bread is yummy, they have conchas and a lot of sweet bread that you can get. Love that this is local and I can have a yummy cheap meal anytime.“

“This Carvel has single handily changed my view on life. You may be thinking ice cream is a simple pleasure many indulge in meaninglessly. This is NOT true for me, every bite is an experience in its own, every moment one to be cherised. On a particular dark, gloomy night I defeatedly walked into Carvel, my head hung low in shame. Was I, the biggest icecream enthusiastic in the world really about to settle for Carvel? I walked up to the counter and my pessimistic attitude was flipped upside down, and so was my world. The beaming worker smiled at me and his smile flashed such a warm radiance I was worried all the Icecream would melt! He was kind when serving me and the icecream made my gloom into joy. I looked at the recipt and saw the workers name was Dean. My experience on this night was an insightful one in which I learned never to judge a book by its cover, and hope can be found in the most unexpected places. 5 stars would recommend!!!“
