“Saturday evening dinner without a reservation. Walking in, my eyes immediately gravitated to the pictures of the owners and the many celebrities that have eaten and visited there before. The bar area is very nice and large, with TVs playing sports and news. We were greeted, welcomed and seated immediately. The dining area is very large and decorous. The tables large enough to sit us all. My cousin-in-law and his family frequent the restaurant and he practically knows everyone there, so as we sat, we were introduced to the owners and pretty much about a half dozen waiters and other staff members. All were extremely friendly and welcoming. As expected with all family style restaurants, the tables are very close to one another but positioned in a way that still allowed for ample space for you to move and sit comfortably. When we sat, there were hardly any people there, but within an hour it was full of patrons and large families. It was loud, but manageable. The food was unbelievably delicious. I haven't had true traditional family style Italian food in a long time. From the Fried Calamari and cold antipasto appetizers, to our Veal Parmigiana, Penne allá Vodka with Shrimp and prosciutto entrees. Paired with a Cabernet Sauvignon Palermo Napa, I truly enjoyed my meal. I haven't enjoyed food this good in a long time. My girls shared a huge plate of Chicken fingers and fries, and they loved it. When I gave them the idea of my cake, couldn't get a definite yes as they had to check with the baker, but the next day, I received a prompt response that it was possible. “My absolute favorite coffee shop!! I am in the hard bean at least twice a week and I have had nothing but great experiences! The coffee is consistently good, and the food items are always fresh. The service is outstanding and the staff is always kind and attentive. I typically bring my laptop and stay for a while to get some work done, and this is a great place to do so. The WiFi is great and the atmosphere is always very calm. I love that when I go I am supporting a local family business that is hardworking and dedicated to what they do. “Stop in here spur of the moment during a local street fair, asked the barista to make me a latte flavored of her choice and that I like it sweet. Oh boy was I winner she made me a spumoni latte and I couldn't have been happier. So much so I convinced 3 other people to go get one. I only wish the cup was bigger I could have enjoyed it longer! Went today for first time and I enjoyed the atmosphere, had a matcha iced tea with tamarind syrup (had them add milk to make it a bit creamy as it was more on the sour watery side than what I’m used to for matcha); my partner had an iced coffee. I will definitely return as I really would like to try their regular coffee, the place smelled amazing!!! They sell coffee bags there too, which would be kool to make at home if you’ve tried and loved the taste of their coffee. Reminded me of Gossip Coffee in Astoria.The great thing is they have plenty of outlets, pretty much at every single and double seating space. The tables for 4 in the middle of the cafe are the only ones without outlets.It was a bit chilly when we went today, as the back door was open to the outdoor seating, would’ve preferred it closed especially in 45-50 degree weather still. It’s nice to have that extra space out there though, esp when the weather gets warmer, definitely a plus. If you don't do your drip right, there's no way you do anything else well, so this is a good sign for my return trip! They offer several teas and an assortment of baked goods to eat as well, if coffee isn't your thing. Staff was very friendly and service was quick to boot. There are a bunch of tables inside and out if you choose to stay awhile, but it is limited and the place seems to fill up pretty quick. “The owner, Sally, was so kind and welcoming even though we arrived there 3 minutes before closing. My friend and I ordered 2 different drinks. My friend got a grapefruit “K-fruit” and I got a combination of cookies & cream AND dulce de leche BOBA. It was my first time ordering and I was surprised that I could mix flavors. Sally was very accommodating and made helpful suggestions regarding the sweetness level. The grapefruit “K-fruit” did not taste artificial and it had real fruit pulp. The hostess was friendly and the seating was definitely different from the other location in the Centereach area. There's a small waiting area with a bench to the right as you enter that will hold 3 people. Service is quick once you're seated and your food is delivered very hot. “Came here for a quick lunch during my break. After moving to Long Island it is quite difficult to find a Spanish restaurant. I found this restaurant on google. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted. There are some people behind the counter that speak English but they speak mostly Spanish. I do speak Spanish, but it was good to know that there are other people that can speak English, because I wanted to share this restaurant with my colleagues at work and they do not speak Spanish. Everyone was friendly, kind, and helpful. I ordered the special of the day which was caldo de res (beef soup)- there is an option to order it "Complete" which comes with rice topped with beef stew, macaroni salad, and plantain. I got a Colombiana soda to go with it and it was perfect!!! it was nice, clean, bright inside and the bakery is to die for. I didn't get to take pictures of the empanadas and pan de queso I bought, but it's a MUST have. I would love to try their cakes next time, it looked so good!! they have a whole pastry/bread section.
