“I had an unforgettable experience at MyMoon! I took my friend to celebrate her birthday, and from start to finish, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel celebrated — they truly made the night special. The drinks were amazing — the Strawberry MyMoon and Lavender Sour were both perfectly crafted and delicious. The food was full of authentic Spanish flavors and beautifully presented. “We attended a birthday party here held in one of their private rooms last weekend. The food was served buffet style and was excellent. We particularly liked the baked clams, octopus, and paella. The sangria was perfect, great flavor and not too sweet. Service was excellent and all servers were very accommodating. We look forward to eating in their dining room one day soon.“

“I was impressed with the visit. I expected it to be your typical bar & grill but to my surprise it was more. The atmosphere was inviting as soon as I walked in. The waitress Leilany was awesome and knowledgeable. I had the lunch special and the chicken mofongo and cheese empanadas were delicious, and I washed it all down with a thirst quenching midday rum punch.“

“We were supposed to eat at another restaurant, Anny, but when we got there, they informed us that they would only accept cash. Yet there was no ATM. We started walking on 116th, looking for an ATM. Instead, we found this place to eat. It's a buffet style place with only one booth style table. The best thing was that the food was good and the price was right.“

“I've had consistent great quality food from this establishment every time I've visited. Staff is friendly, greets you immediately, and always taking their time to make sure your order is taken correctly. The women here are stunning as well?... they never skimp on their portions, and the quality of the food is always on point. I like the fact that the food is on display, and you can see the food being prepared right in front of you. The atmosphere is very clean, very inviting and has a sense of a home feeling in the sitting area. Did i mention the women are stunning?. Unfortunately i haven't gotten any pics yet, but my next visit I'll make sure to ask if i can take some first, (Brooklyn people just dont like you taking pics of them)...lol but I'd highly recomend you, or the whole family visiting this restaurant for a great experience, and some great food... ohh and did i forget to mention the women here are stunning!!! Thank you El Paraso for continuing your quality service to the community!!! People go here, not there one across the street!!!!“

Everything here was priced more affordably compared to any of the other Dominican spots on 138th street and in the neighborhood. Big plates. Also, they cater to the blue collar crowd. Lunch food is ready by 9:30AM. Perfect lunch spot if you're a city worker, construction, etc.“

“Great little local restaurant. Was staying in Brooklyn for a bit and there’s nothing like these type of spots. Great home cooked type food! Came here twice, once for some quick empanadas for breakfast and the other for lunch. Rotisserie chicken, rice, beans and vegetables for $20(USD). “This was another happy discovery, and a nice place to stop in for old-fashioned Spanish comfort food. My favorite dish from here is the garlic chicken with rice and beans, as well as the fresh juices. One can make a dish off of the snack foods and smaller dishes by themselves; the standard rice platter that came with the aforementioned chicken lasted me for a few days, there was so much. They also have a wide variety of breakfast dishes and don't mind customizing them as needed.“

“I stopped at this deli because I heard their empanadas are really good but since its early morning I got a bagel with bacon pepperjack cheese and tomato and I have to say that was the best sandwich I ever had and that's all I get everywhere I go so kudo to the chef! “Always busy, clean. Good prices. I have noticed overtime Walmart breads are salty/high in sodium. Whenever I eat I feel so very thirsty. I don't get that feeling at eating bread from elsewhere. Anyways I go there mostly for car oil and Gatorade.“
