“First time diner. Appreciated that the bartender went out of his way to make a margarita just the way I like it. Had a delicous salad and pasta with seafood. Also liked that we were not rushed through dinner. Warm, cosy environment with outdoor seating. Unpretentious and very good food. I'll be back.“

“Just left a crazy Thursday night at IL Forno. What a fun and enjoyable evening we had. We walked in with no reservations and the manager snuck us right in and we even got to the listen to an amazing singer. We have been here a few times, this was by far the most fun we had. Everyone was laughing. The staff which seems to be plenty was having a good time. The manager and Owners kept walking around and making sure all was good and everyone was happy. Thank you for restoring our fun Thursday evening with no COVID fears.“

“Siena is a lovely surprise nestled in the Watershed hotel in Norwalk. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a modern vibe and overlooks the Norwalk river. The menu is reasonably diverse and the food is very good. Fun cocktail list with one mocktail offering (Golden Hour) that was excellent. It's fully staffed so the attention level is very attentive. Ask for a table by the windows so you can look down at the river.“

“Gisellas has been our favorite go to Italian restaurant in DANBURY since it opened. Food is always delicious and consistent and the wait staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Unfortunately last night we had a different experience the moment we walked in the door. Hostess was very unfriendly and dismissive, no eye contact and acted like she was doing us a favor seating us! Thankfully, like always, the rest of our dining experience was amazing!“

They all rock, they all work so hard and treat the guests well and make us all feel well at home.“

“Lovely restaurant and staff are excellent. Food is also quite good; the lower rating was due to the zucchini parmigiana. I do not recommend this dish because it was merely zucchini, too much mozzarella, and tomato sauce. No ricotta cheese or anything else. Every bite was a struggle because the mozzarella is stringy once cooked. Zucchini was not soft enough to make the meal less difficult to enjoy. So, if you go, do not have this, if it is on the list of specials.“

It was slow when we arrived because we ate at an off time but that made it better because it was such a nice atmosphere to chat and relax. By far some of the best things I’ve ever eaten. It was $27 for an appetizer, main course, and dessert which I thought was a great price. You won’t be leaving here hungry! I would definitely come here again.“

“OMG! Where to start. It was a Monday evening & we walked in & it was busy. They had 3 parties going on. They asked if we had reservations. I told them no, we were from out of town. They still seated us. I'm so glad they did. The food was phenomenal & fresh. I love gnocchi & I finally got homemade gnocchi. The owners & workers are so nice. They even did something special for us 😉 since it was crowded. I highly recommend this place for fresh real Italian cuisine.“

I had the sea bass over risotto. The bass was cooked to perfection! And their service was excellent as always! Thank you for a wonderful evening! The overall dining experience was amazing and the ambiance is great! I am an “artichoke aficionado” and the Carcioffi Fritti appetizer was perfect. The Pappardelle Bolognese was excellent and the Vitelli Funghi was so good (I got it with Chicken instead). Their sea salt caramel gelato was the best we have ever had. We will definitely add this to our fine dining list!“

However, a few weeks ago I found myself without side dishes for Sunday dinner - and I ordered salads, broccoli rabe and a few other items and they were excellent. Last night I ordered two entrees and they were outstanding.“
