“This place will vary greatly in atmosphere and cocktail quality depending on who's bartending. The employee turnover rate has been high lately and I'm not loving the newer management HOWEVER overall still a solid option for cocktails and their Neapolitan style pizza is delicious. Your night will be great if you're lucky enough to be served by Eugene! He makes the best cocktails. Dorian is very friendly and will provide great service. If you want to plan events, Brandon W is simply the best!!“

“Just left a crazy Thursday night at IL Forno. What a fun and enjoyable evening we had. We walked in with no reservations and the manager snuck us right in and we even got to the listen to an amazing singer. We have been here a few times, this was by far the most fun we had. Everyone was laughing. The staff which seems to be plenty was having a good time. The manager and Owners kept walking around and making sure all was good and everyone was happy. Thank you for restoring our fun Thursday evening with no COVID fears.“

“I used to eat here often because I worked in Katonah but after moving away and a gap of about 30 years, I went back to this place for a late lunch with my family. Wow did it deliver! The perfect weather didn't hurt as we ate in their cozy outdoor pavilion but the things under their control were also perfect: a very personable and knowledgeable waiter, plates served sizzling hot, some of the best pesto you'll ever taste, salmon done to a chef's kiss, a heaping bowl of risotto chicken, all followed by homemade chocolate mousse that I seriously don't think can ever be beat. You better believe I'll be back, and it won't be thirty years!!“

“Gisellas has been our favorite go to Italian restaurant in DANBURY since it opened. Food is always delicious and consistent and the wait staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Unfortunately last night we had a different experience the moment we walked in the door. Hostess was very unfriendly and dismissive, no eye contact and acted like she was doing us a favor seating us! Thankfully, like always, the rest of our dining experience was amazing!“

“Parking: We love Oscars and have been here a number of times. Each time introducing someone else to the delicious food and cocktails, friendly, profession service, relaxing atmosphere.
As for parking, we have been lucky every time to get a perfect spot. The restaurant is located with other business’ around it. We have dined, not at peak hours so we were fortunate to find a close spot each time.
Overall Oscars is our first choice of restaurants at only 8 miles from home. We will be returning often.“

“Salmon lunch was delicious! Seafood enthusiast here and I travel all over Fairfield County and Litchfield County trying highly acclaimed restaurants bars and cafes. This was delectable salmon and yes you can ask for sauce on the side so it is not spicy! So yummy and the ambience is so nice. Oh and the to go orders give you fresh bread with it! Extra lovely above and beyond touch of class there!!!!“

It was slow when we arrived because we ate at an off time but that made it better because it was such a nice atmosphere to chat and relax. By far some of the best things I’ve ever eaten. It was $27 for an appetizer, main course, and dessert which I thought was a great price. You won’t be leaving here hungry! I would definitely come here again.“

“My husband and I are both Italian and we completely loved everything from walking in the door to leaving!! The food was beyond perfect and our servers were extremely personable and attentive. The overall dining experience was amazing and the ambiance is great! I am an “artichoke aficionado” and the Carcioffi Fritti appetizer was perfect. The Pappardelle Bolognese was excellent and the Vitelli Funghi was so good (I got it with Chicken instead). Their sea salt caramel gelato was the best we have ever had. We will definitely add this to our fine dining list!“

“Wow ! Loved this restaurant’s food. We started with the bruschetta and fried calamari. Our friends had the clam casino. Everyone loved their food. It’s just classic Italian and the portions are generous. I loved my clam pasta with white sauce and my husband had the fradia vol pasta. His pasta was spicy but so delicious. “The best, my favorite, pizza joint on Mill Plain Rd, on the Westside, in Danbury! The crust is thin, has that slight crunch, folds easily to cradle the abundance of toppings. Oh, and the meat lover's version, wow! Full-size toppings (hubby & son raved about it)....and my fave, the veggie...spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, garlic, peppers, onions -LOADED & DELICIOUS!
