“went with 2 other people, and one of the burgers was undercooked (she asked for no pink and there was a lot of pink). the cheese part of the mac and cheese was pasty, like it was a bechamel sauce with extra flour on instead of a mornay sauce, aka they did the flour butter and milk but added no actual cheese to it. the fries were tasty and the burgers were well seasoned. i wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.“

“Restaurant was packed as is usual at this time of the year.However the food,and service was not compromised. Fried artichokes were excellent,as was the arugula pizza,and egg plant pizza as well!
However for me as a gluten free Celiac customer, i needed gluten free pasta.Well they not only had it but it was the best I had ever had!!! It was the shrimp fra diavalo over ziti.Perfect heat to a firm pasta cooked perfectly in a separate pot as not to cross contaminate,now that's customer service !
If you want a terrific meal without stupid Hampton prices, come to this terrific local restaurant ,you won't be disappointed!“

“It was a most enjoyable experience; the farmer's salad is among the best I've ever had, and the entree, chicken schnitzel, was tasty. I was surprised to see the place was packed on a Tuesday in the off-season, which made it noisier than I would like, since I value quiet acoustics more than food because it makes conversation easier. But heh, people were obviously there because they like the place. The new owner has done an excellent job transforming a restaurant that has been around for ages.“

“Stumbled by this bistro in Southampton and decided to go in for lunch. To our pleasant surprise we had a wonderful meal with excellent wine pairings suggested by our server, we loved our lunch so much we decided on having dinner at their NYC location the next evening, needless to say it was magnificent! “Capt. Phil and his team delivered an awesome beach party last night in Southampton. From appetizers to dessert everything was superb. Freshest clams ever, with Phill shucking non-stop for our guests. The lobster was good and the steak was excellent. Tables were beautifully set with lanterns and torches down the beach plus a giant bonfire! Best for me: they did EVERYTHING PERFECTLY, so we really got to socialize with our friends. Our guests were raving, (even our most jaded Hamptons friends). This was an event to remember and I will always be thankful to Capt. Phil and his extraordinary team!“

“Few can pass on freshly baked goods from a bakery, and after a visit to Ye Olde Bake Shoppe, I suspect you will be among the regulars here. The aroma when you enter surrounds you and creates an initial frenzy...what to eat, what to eat. And when you see their offerings, you need restraint as everything is deliciously decadent. Folks do line up to get their cinnamon buns. These are light and airy dripping in icing. Their donuts and croissants are amazing. They bake an excellent variety of bread and pretzels, and these are so flavorful. Cakes, cookies, and cupcakes abound. Take your pick-they will each be delicious. If you don't see your favorite do ask as you just maybe minutes away from the next tray coming out of the oven. And right by the door are treats to feed the ducks at nearby Lake Agawam, the perfect spot to sit and enjoy your goodies from Ye Olde Bake Shoppe.“

“I tried the blueberry scone. The staff didn’t question my request of whipped cream, which is always a sign to me that they don’t know scones. This is one of the best scones i have ever had. It was moist, the blueberries were real and juicy and the thing was so big i could only eat half.“
