“By far one of the best Central American fusion restaurants in Bergen County. Everything was phenomenal but highlights were the Guatemalan breakfast, chicken flautas, pupusas, and fried plantains. The food has a very home cooked feel with fresh, high quality ingredients. And try the tres leches made in house for dessert! The service is also excellent and the owners make you feel like part of the family. On top of all that, the prices are incredible. We’ll be coming back often!“

“My husband and I live right down the street and always pass this place when driving home. We decided this morning to pop in. I love that's it's most likely family owned as we own a family owned business also. We love to give our business to small local businesses. We ordered the chicken and rice and beans and it was well seasoned and cooked. Very tasty. We will definitely be back to try another item off the menu.“

“I called in for papusas and got a variety to try! I loved every single one but can highly recommend the papusas with pork and beans; it is definitely my new favorite dish. The wait was about 15 minutes after I called to place my order, which was not bad at all. The owner was very kind and gave us a slice of pizza to try for free, which was good as well. “My original review was 1 star from the fall of 2025. I wanted to give them one more try, and it was AMAZING!!!

On Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, at 11:30am, I decided on my day off to go out for some food. I passed Albert's Mofongo, thinking no thanks... due to really bad customer service from the front staff and food that was okay at best. But I ended up turning around and wanted to see if it was any better vs my last few visits.

The front staff greeted me when I walked in and gave me a tour of their buffet. They were warm and welcoming.

Next is the food, 10 out of 10, such a HUGE difference from last year! It was so delicious and not overly salted at all.

Albert or whoever owns this restaurant, the front staff, cooks, and management have done an incredible job changing this restaurant compared to how it was last year. I will 100% come back to this restaurant.“

Lol I ordered the passion fruit marg and stuffed chicken. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The marg was yummy 😋! I would've loved to hear some bad bunny, but overall great vibe.
