“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.
Regarding the food:
Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.
Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.
King Salmon: Quite tender.
Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.
Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.
Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“I received delivery at home on numerous occasions via TOAST. I am working my way through the menu and have yet to be disappointed. The way you are able to customize your gourmet vegan meal is very appealing. The desserts are exceptional, don't pass them up, I haven’t! This hade resulted in trying nearly all of them. Though i am not fond of eating out, i rarely cook and Le Botaniste is gladly to blame. Don't take my word for, try it!“

“We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. The flavors and taste are just the best. No matter what you order you will not go wrong. The service is top notch and Rocco and his staff are just the best at what they do. “I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“Had the falafel sandwich like many times as a vegan, but this was soooo good. Crispy outside, soft moist inside. Your choice of “salads”/pickled veggies to add into it. I had baba ghanoush, Julienne pickled carrots , and a cubed roasted eggplant, onion, and tomato. So flavorful without being overpowering w any one ingredient. Eddy makes everything homemade by hand. Everything! The falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, the pickles, the pita. Pita so good. Large thick and soft. My friends had a beef kabob sandwich and chicken plate. They said it was delicious. “This little gem of a restaurant was such a great find. I was craving phó for a few days and decided to try a new place. My usual spots were just average so I hit the old search engine up for suggestions and found Chef Papa. There’s not a lot of seating so be forewarned. I was dining solo. I ordered their signature phó and a minced pork banh mi. When it comes to phó it’s all about the soup. Their broth is delicious. From the first spoon full you can tell it’s fresh and not full of msg or salt. The rice noodles had a nice chew to them and the proteins were plentiful. The banh mi baguette was crisp and lightly toasted. At the bottom was warm grilled minced pork. Above that was the Viet ham, cucumber, julienne carrots and cilantro.“
