“I had a birthday party for my daughter here. In all we were about 20 guests. Kim and husband created a special menu for the occasion. It was absolutely amazing! Everyone raved about how delicious everything was. We had cold antipasto, rice balls, eggplant rollatini, calamari, chicken wings and pizza. There was so much food! I highly recommend Ungaro for any occasion or just dinner which is how I came about going there in the first place. Thank you again for a wonderful, memorable occasion!“

“Simply put, the trip to Staten Island is worth it for Denino’s.

The regular cheese pie alone is outstanding. Perfect crust with that slight crisp underneath, great char on the bubbles, fresh mozzarella, balanced sauce, and just the right amount of basil. It’s simple, but when it’s done this well, that’s all you need.

The vodka pie was unreal. The sauce is creamy, rich, and packed with flavor without feeling heavy. It coats the mozzarella perfectly and the crust still holds up slice after slice. That sweet, slightly tangy vodka sauce with the char from the oven is a combination that’s hard to beat.

The buffalo wings were excellent. Crispy outside, juicy inside, and the sauce had real flavor, not just heat. The fried zucchini was a sleeper hit. Perfectly breaded, crunchy, and great dipped in marinara. Even the sautéed spinach with garlic was fresh and done right.

Denino’s feels old school in the best way. Big menu, generous portions, and food that’s consistent and confident. Nothing trendy. Just really good Italian food and pizza that delivers. The service was amazing too. They were very attentive to us and shook everyone’s hand at the end of the meal. What a great experience!“

“This place has quickly become one of my favorite spots on Staten Island. The atmosphere is great with a really clean modern bar, TVs for the games, and a lively dining room that makes it perfect whether you’re going out with friends or just grabbing dinner.

The pizza here is phenomenal. The crust has that perfect crisp with a soft center and the ingredients taste really fresh. Every time I come here I end up ordering pizza because it is just that good. It is easily some of the best pizza on Staten Island.

What surprised me the most though is how strong the rest of the menu is. The appetizers are excellent. The fried calamari was fresh and perfectly cooked and the mozzarella sticks were loaded with flavor. You can tell the kitchen really cares about the food they put out.

They also serve great steaks which makes the place even better if you are going with people who want something different than pizza. The menu has a really nice balance between classic Italian dishes, appetizers, pizza, and steak options.

The service has always been friendly and the vibe inside makes you want to stay for a while, especially if you are sitting near the bar watching a game.

Highly recommend this spot if you are on Staten Island. It has amazing pizza, great appetizers, and solid steaks all in one place. Definitely worth checking out.“

“We are visiting the city for a girls trip. We rode the Staten Island Ferry to get a good view of the Statue of Liberty. Instead of turning right around we decided to have lunch on Staten Island. We wanted to go to Nonna’s (from the movie) but it was sold out. We wandered back toward the ferry and discovered MVP Pizza that said local favorite in the window. It was quiet so they had room for six of us. Sergio was a great host and cook. He told us he had a limited menu but then made us two great pies. No artichokes so he suggested mushrooms as a pairing which was delicious. It was a great experience all around- we could chat and spend time while indulging in perfect NY pizza! Please try it you won’t be sorry!

“Lee’s Tavern is a staple on Staten Island, and for good reason. The pizzas are among the crown jewels of Staten Island, and the bar itself is just a classic, cozy, hole in the wall kind of place.

We had fried calamari, an Italian shredded pork hero, a white clam pie, and a regular pie (half with sweet peppers). The calamari was great. It was fried perfectly and the hot marinara sauce was really good with a nice kick. The pork hero was very basic, and though it lacked a bit in flavor, the ingredients all tasted very fresh and the cheese was melted very nicely, I enjoyed it quite a bit. The pies at Lee’s speak for themselves. The white clam pie is delicious, it’s a perfect balance of garlic, cheese, and that classic Italian clam taste. The regular pie is also just so fundamentally perfect. It’s crisp, thin, and the sauce is perfect.

The service at Lee’s is also exceptional with extremely friendly staff. My only complaint would be that Lee’s is cash only, though they do have an ATM inside. The pizza more than makes up for the cash only rule though.“

“This place is an absolute gem! The pizzas here are next level — easily some of the best I’ve ever had. The Spinach Ricotta White Pie was out of this world: perfectly creamy, loaded with flavor, and the crust had that perfect balance of crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Then the Pepperoni and Hot Honey Pie… unbelievable. The spicy kick from the pepperoni mixed with the sweetness of the honey made for the perfect combo — I couldn’t stop eating it. “I usually eat regular or Margherita pizza only. However, here, the white pie is incredible. I used to live in Staten Island and I used to get the white pie all the time. Came back after 7 or 8 years, and happy to say it still holds true. Excellent ingredients, everything is fresh and well prepared. Crust is delicious, on the sweet side. Highly suggest trying this place if you are in the area.“

“We have been bringing our child here regularly for almost 2 years. My kid loves the trampoline (extra charge). We like it here because it usually isn't crowded, even on the weekends it is much better than other branches. And the staff are overall very nice (actually the nicest compared to other branches), the food is tasty, and ChuckECheese comes out to dance with the kids regularly, sometimes about once an hour but sometimes less. The service can be quite slow sometimes depending on their staffing and they also often allow non-paying trampoline kids to jump on the trampoline which isn't fair to those of us who pay. You get a wristband and a sock if you pay and you often see kids without it jumping. Overall, our favorite ChuckECheese branch.“
