“We tried Hook & Reel for the first time and enjoyed it so much, we went back 2 days later. The food was well prepared, delicious, and served hot. Yummy lobster bisque, I ordered a 2nd bowl after finishing the first! Fried calamari was yummy as well. The raw oysters were perfect and the boil with Hook & Reel's own Cajun sauce was outstanding. Our server, Moe, was friendly and very efficient; he makes your dining experience error-free so you can relax and enjoy the meal. The Manager here gets credit for a well-run ship! He really appreciates the customers and it shows. You will definitely want to eat here frequently. Great service, tasty food, relaxed atmosphere - you won't be disappointed.“

“I never leave 5 star reviews but Cole’s has terrific service and delicious food! We came for lunch at 3pm - and it’s hard to find decent restaurant food during lunch hours so we weren’t expecting much, but we enjoyed everything! The baked clams and fried calamari were crispy and my filet of sole was delicious!

Our waitress was nice, as well as the rest of the crew who chatted with us. Will definitely dine here again!“

“Kudos go out to the Marina Cafe for doing Thanksgiving up right! No wonder the restaurant was packed today. A wide variety of plates to choose from today, making it hard to decide. We went with the Turkey Dinner and it was perfect. What a tender bird, roasted perfectly. The tiramisu at the end was the cherry on the cake. Best I ever had! I know sometimes it's hit or miss when you go out to eat on a holiday! Not the case at the Marina Cafe! And of course, the view can't be beat! ? — at Marina Cafe.“

Place is clean as a whistle and festively decorated. They give you a lot of food and the prices are a great value for the quality and quantity. We had huaraches (tortilla was easy to cut and tasty). Huevos rancheros and eggs and ham. Everyone enjoyed their meal!“

“Visited a restaurant for the birthday party in May 2022. Clean, welcomed staff, good service, a lot of parking on the street. We placed an order. It was not too long, which is good because the reservation was for 6:30 pm and everybody was hungry. Appetizers were delicious especially both types of calmers. 3 people ordered NYS trip stakes. OMG! All 3 stakes were stingy. Nobody finished the stake. Medium and well done came up the same. Black color even tongue was black after eating the steak. It's because when cooked the steak did not clean the grail. Also, I recommend checking your receipt. We found 3 items that we did not get on the table for a total of almost $80. One of them we never ordered, and two newer ones were delivered to the table.“

I had the house salad followed by a medium rare ribeye, my daughter had the Caesar salad, and a medium rare NY Strip my husband had the steak tips volcano (not sure that is the correct name) All of it was perfectly prepared. We Finished dinner with a to die for pecan pie and crème brûlée. Both the food and service were exceptional.“

“Fast and Friendly service. Walked in for a Poke Bowl and walked out a permanent customer. Once I started with the Snow Crabs it was over. The custom Wild Crab Sauce has me hooked. The Shrimp are large and cooked very well and I can't leave without my Thai Milk Tea with Boba. Amazing!!! 🙏“

“Loosing cafe Luna on Paige ave was tough. It was family and it was my go to! Always knowing of this, Luna on Hylan Blvd, was told to try it. It's Pretty much the same, try it! Being apprehensive I went and I'm glad I did! I'm establishing another family real fast. The pizza is outstanding. There are different flavors. Don't get me wrong but still Stella food and service. I recommend going there if you're in the same boat as me with losing out on Paige Ave Luna. Alex and his staff are fantastic! Very attentive and it's a family atmosphere. A++++“

“Owners Frank and Carmen treat you like family from the minute you walk in. It’s a small cozy place which we loved. We are all food lovers used to eating out and yet we were all impressed when we tried all the fresh specials Frank prepared off menu. The Tomahawk steak was absolutely amazing especially with his own special sauce that accompanied it. The eggplant pasta special with olives was phenomenal. Carmen was lovely making sure we were attended to and uncorked our wine as it is a BYOB for now. Both of them made a special birthday dessert tray for me as a surprise. They both genuinely care that you feel happy with your entire food experience. So give it a try and get the specials of the day you will be glad you did.“

“I have been ordering food from this location for years with the Owners Jing and Johnny. The food is always fresh, hot, and the prices are always cheap. Jing and Johnny are always friendly and professional. If you want great chinese food, I would definitely suggest you order here because you wont be sorry. Now based off my experience, the typical orders I make are the shrimp toast, Singapore mei fun, bbq spare rib tips with young chow fried rice, fried/steam dumplings and shrimp rolls. Depending on the day, these are one of my orders for that day. The food is always on point. I always feel it's best to go to establishments becoming acquainted with the people who make your food because than you will always be a familiar face and known as a valuable customer.“

“I have been to Paradise Island once at the recommendation of an amazing beautiful woman that I don’t even know (jewelzbyDesiree) Upon arriving I immediately felt welcomed and comfortable, not like I wasn’t feeling judged like some other restaurants make you feel. I ordered pasta with sausage and broccolirabe and my bestie had some chicken dish that she is still raving about. The food and service are bar none to any other restaurant in Staten Island. The waitress made us feel like family but it was never like she was intrusive when she did come to check on us. The price was more affordable than expected as I alone know I had at least 3 martinis. I can not recommend this place more. This is coming to you from a 💯 Staten Island girl and food snob.“
