“The Copperhead Club in Peekskill is truly a hidden gem! I went with my kids on Christmas Eve last year, and it was such a special experience—the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Since then, I’ve been back often, especially for happy hour, and it never disappoints. One of my absolute favorites is their onion dip with chips—it’s honestly the best I’ve ever had! It takes me right back to the holidays—Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter—when my family would always have onion dip, Copperhead takes it to a whole other level. Their homemade peanut butter shot is also incredible (with whiskey, I believe)—smooth, unique, and dangerously good. The chef, bartenders, and waitstaff are all so kind and welcoming. The atmosphere feels like family, and to top it off, the sunsets over the Hudson River right across the street are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The Copperhead Club isn’t just a place to grab a drink or a meal—it’s a true treasure in Peekskill. “On December 12th my law office had their holiday luncheon at this wonderful restaurant. I also ordered a tray of meat lasagna for Christmas. If you have never had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant, I suggest you run - do not pass go - and get your butt there and eat the most delicous food on this planet. The chef created the meat lasagna - a simple dish - and elevated to something that just melts in your mouth with deliciousness. LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant!!“

They didn’t just play music — they owned the room. Tight, dynamic, and completely in sync, with vocals and instrumentals that hit every note perfectly. The kind of performance that makes you stop mid-conversation and just listen. People were cheering, vibing, and completely locked in.

The atmosphere? Laid-back but electric. Great crowd, welcoming vibe, and the kind of place where you walk in a stranger and leave feeling like part of something.

If you’re even remotely into live music, open mic nights, or just discovering insanely talented artists before they blow up — this is the spot.

“We had a quiet, comfortable stay while heading south through New York and New Jersey. Room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked with the exception of one lightbulb, which was quickly replaced. The front desk staff and the maintenance engineer were very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Our one “complaint” was with the height of the toilet seat. For old folks with old knees, it’s much too low and there was nothing to grab onto. It also would have been helpful to have a listing of the tv channels. There was no channel guide on the remote. We had to surf through the channels to see what was on. We had a very good dinner in The Koi Lounge. Food was good! Price was reasonable! Server/bartender was very pleasant, but service was slow because she was working alone. The kitchen is not adjacent to the lounge, so she had to do lots of running back and forth. The main restaurant was closed because the hotel was not busy enough to warrant opening it in the middle of this week. The breakfast buffet @ $18 was very good. It featured a good variety of hot and cold items + eggs/omelettes cooked to order. Good coffee! We would stop here again when passing through.“

We've been here just a couple of times but our last few visits were tended by Nadean, an absolute delight! Im a super picky eater and tend to have a lot of special requests, but my girl makes me feel like a regular person - no irritation and my order always comes out perfect
The only reason for i pulled a star was because we were sat by the kitchen and my boyfriend is sound sensitive, so the constant dish clattering was rough for him
Maybe consider a sound barrier between the tables and the kitchen, at least by the sink?

“We always enjoy stopping by Black Dirt Bourbon Barn whenever we’re shopping at Woodbury Common. It’s the perfect place to take a break, relax for a bit, and recharge before continuing our shopping.

They have a really nice selection of beers, bourbons, wines, ciders, and creative cocktails, so there’s something for everyone. We especially appreciate the variety of local craft beverages they offer.

One of my favorite things about this place is the snack menu. The charcuterie boards, cheeses, and other small bites are perfect for sharing while enjoying a drink. It’s a great spot to unwind without having to sit down for a full meal.
