“The food was delicious. I had the gorditas with cecina. And it felt very authentic. Like a piece of Mexico in NY. The cheese they use for the quesadilla and tortas is quesillo or Oaxaca. And it makes a huge difference in how delicious the food is.“

What really elevates each dish is the sauces - there's always incredible flavor depth and they really complement the other flavors on the plate. The fish tacos have a cashew nut sauce that balances the mango, the red snapper has a creamy coconut sauce and spicy sauce that are great together while the fish (tempura fried), cashews, and garlic chips give you crunch and texture. Plus, the inside area is beautiful and the servers and chefs are very nice :)“

“Awesome!! 5 star are not enough. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Food is super delish!! We had the seafood soup, the virgin tacos( a true hit) the burritos( tortillas de harina) the fish filete came w rice and black beans and salad natural juices and all was simply great. The size of the food are really good I could t even finish and took to go. My kids were happy and couldn’t even stop eating. From food to desert to service all top of the line“

I’ve taken my immediate family ,taken friends , when my outer states visitors come is the first place they get taken to also!! “I can't say enough great things about Defiant! Last week we hosted a small wedding reception and it was perfect. We were able to do anything we wanted with the space we had (we didn't rent the entire place, just a few tables). The food was great, as usual! The beers and other drinks were great and the price was so reasonable! We were able to use all the games at the brewery, and we were even able to play Terminator 2 on the projector which was a major bonus. The staff was truly wonderful which made everything even better. The owner, the cook, and the bartender were all so friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have a casual, and intimate wedding. Thank you guys SO much!“
