The staff will help you pick out just what you need to eat, even if you’re not sure what you want. Vegetarians have many choices here, all delicious. Highly recommend!“

“Best HALAL chicken sandwich on Long Island HANDS DOWN. So delicious and the staff is very nice and it’s located so conveniently next to Hofstra. My friends and I are always here when we need a break from classes and need some good food worth the price. “Al Kababi is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Pakistani food. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with these amazing aromas that just get you excited for what’s coming. The fact that it’s Zabiha makes it even better, knowing everything is halal and carefully sourced. The food? Incredible. We started with the beef Bihari, and they were so juicy and packed with flavor—just the right amount of spice and served with this fresh mint chutney that tied everything together. The biryani, which was perfection. The rice was fragrant, and the meat was super tender, with all those spices working in harmony. The real star, though, was their Amazing Nihari. It tasted homemade, like something you’d get at a family gathering. The spices were bold but balanced, and the meat was cooked to perfection. You could tell they put real love into this dish.
And let’s not forget the naan—soft, warm, and just the right texture to scoop up all the delicious flavors. The staff was so friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. If you’re craving real Pakistani food, Al Kababi should be at the top of your list. As it is my first time being here, I was blown away by all these delicious flavors. This definitely won’t be my last time. Highly recommend! 5 STARS!“

“Great place for a quick lunch, or to Uber when you’re sick, lazy, or starving!

I buy about 5 chicken burgers a week from them, 4 out of 5 times they ARE a little tough, as they probably have been sitting out for a while.

The Spicy Hot Chicken Meal, is excellent. You just need lots of sauce for it, as it is dry rub. Great for the price.

Mashed potatoes are amazing, just wish there was more gravy, and the biscuits lacked flavor. But great consistency, temp and quality.“

“Best halal meat shop in town! This is my go to butcher shop. I love that they offer natural chicken with no hormones. The quality of their meat is very high and the prices are reasonable. I come here every week. Please support this local businesses. The brother who is the owner he very nice and welcoming.“

“Really good food. Enjoyed every bite of it. Had the beef kofta and lamb with rice and salad. They have some seating. Clean tables. At the time there were a few families inside with kids but behaved. Located on a main Street. Parking is somewhat limited.

“Called to make a reservation this past Saturday and spoke to Muhammed who was extremely accommodating. Drove from Oakdale and arrived at 6:30, table was ready and we were quickly seated. The place is very small but we were comfortable and not rushed at all.
Now for the food..... Chicken Korma and Chicken Mango were delicious as was the Eggplant Bharta. Spice levels were perfect and portions generous. Naan was great as well.
