“Okay... so I've been trying to find the best afghan food and it's been a struggle. I also don't have much to compare it to but at the same time I know what good food is and let me tell you.... THIS IS IT. It's cool because it's casual vibes. They give everything to you in a to go box so that's interesting, although they have seating for you. I got the beef bargh, chicken tikka and the lamb chops with my party. And omg the only thing they are missing are mantoos! But I am willing to drive from Astoria for this place so that says it all. It was SO SO good. I took my leftovers home and immediately devoured it and followed my meal with a food coma. Certainly want to gate keep this place but they deserve the recognition.“

I had the lamb curry and my partner the Butter Chicken and both dishes were fantastic. The lamb was, well, like butter; it was possibly the best braised lamb I’ve ever had in any cuisine. I hope the chef tries his/her hand at other lamb dishes—Korma or Passanda.The atmosphere is low key and just right for the area; the service friendly and helpful. Because I had food from shah’s at queens location and that didn’t seem this tasty. The only problem I faced was with this hispanic server lady in this location who was hesitant to give us food. She was only putting less than half tablespoon of each item we were asking to give us for the platter. So we asked her to give more quantity. Later she said to me she should charge us more because we asked for one spoon of the food item. Otherwise, the man with the beard he was very good with his service that’s why I am giving three stars for him. He heated up the kofta we asked for. He properly served us the food. I think he is the manager and I wish him luck. I hope to see more people visiting this location for the amazing food.“

I wasn't expecting that the restaurant would be really small so I think it would be great for small parties with friends or family. The food I would say is kinda good and some of the foods we ordered was a miss. Personally I didn't enjoy the pasta that much but my friend really enjoyed it. We all really liked the empanadas (hard to find halal ones ;-;). I was not a fan of the rice and chicken because it was very dry. Maybe it is meant to be like that but I didn't like it being thag dry or at least offer some sauce. The Philly cheese steak sandwich was also really good. The owner was really nice and easy to talk to making the experience more nice and enjoyable. We also got to meet his wife who was also super sweet.“
