“We were staying at the Tarrytown house estate and decided to visit Goosefeather for dinner, not having any idea about the restaurant other than that it was located on-site. As Chinese-style martial artists, we were pleasantly surprised to see the Cantonese -fusion menu options as we walked in. Unfortunately, we did not have reservations, but we were able to sit at the bar. What an auspicious turn of luck! The bar offers not only the full menu, but the chance to watch professionals at their craft. We were taken care of by Mariana and Sara, who were busy yet still highly attentive. They were very knowledgeable about the menu, and explained everything even before our questions had a habce to leave our lips. We started with some standard drinks (a spicy martini, and one of their mocktails with Ron Zacapa rum added in). Solid pours, balancing the flavors of the drinks with adequate alcohol to keep things fun). Next week ordered the spicy rice cakes and the potstickers. Each was perfectly done. The potstickers were crispy but not burnt, and paired with a just-right spicy Chinese mustard. There were four per serving, which served to whet out appetites while leaving us waiting for more. Next, we got the spicy rice cakes. These were just hot enough to let the tongue know, but the spice built pleasantly. The plate was pretty big, and the two of us had more than one or two helpings each. Finally, we had the Crying Tiger Tuna. The lightly seared and seasoned tuna was paired with avocado salad, pickled gooseberries, and sweet goji berries. Delicious! To cap it off, we switched up our drinks for two of their signature cocktails. Sweet emotion is a pumpkin espresso martini with a smoky bubble of deliciousness in top. Love in an Elevator is a wild rum ride of flavors I'd never think to blend, such as apricot, chocolate, and lemon. Overall, while pricey, the experience, the food, and the atmosphere made it worth it! As a bonus, we were watched over by a really cool portrait of Bruce Lee!”

The Witch’s Brew beans I brought home are wonderful, mild, and full of flavor. Can’t wait to break into the second bag of beans I bought.”

“My husband and I had a most delightful dinner. Michel the owner welcomed us like into his home. Excellent wine recommendation with our dinner. All staff efficient and attentive to our needs. Octopus appetizer, Pasta Bolonase delicious and generous. The venue itself is charming, with Michels own artwork as decor. We were visiting from out of town, otherwise this would be a favorite to frequent.”

“We stopped in on a recent trip to “Sleepy Hollow.” I snagged five different flavors of pretzels to bring home. They were all delicious, but the stuffed PB&J? I cannot stop thinking about that pretzel and cannot wait to order it online! Incredible!!”

“Got the sausage and cheese on ciabatta & cappuccino. Ciabatta was very soft and the sandwich had a good amount of sausage and egg. There are a lot of baked goods and it's next to the MNR station. So it's a good spot for eating & train spotting”

“Went there as I was catching a show across the street. Nice small place with cozy atmosphere. There was seating inside and outdoors. My wife and I started off with a chicken and beef empanada. The filling was delicious and the outside was flaky and light. Delicious empanadas. For our main course my wife had the Cubano and I had the Classic 55 Burger. My wife got sweet potato fries with hers and I got regular seasoned fries. The Cubano was a nice size portion. My wife really enjoyed it And enjoyed the sweet potato fries. The burger I had was absolutely delicious and the french fries were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The price was definitely reasonable for what we ate. And I did not leave hungry. It was just enough. Definitely a place worth stopping at again and having a couple drinks and some nice food. Also, our server was great. Nice to talk to and very attentive.”

“Always great pizza, always delivered quickly -- and if you ask for "well-done" the pizza is crispy on the bottom. They will make any combination that you want, but we especially recommend the chicken marsala pizza, and a cheese pizza with pesto and mushrooms on top. YUM!”

The vibe is super chill and cozy and they have a cute courtyard in the back with outdoor seating. Deceptively larger inside than you would think! “i came to Tarrytown to visit and stopped at this place to eat. I’ve never came here before but I hope I get to again! The place is very nice and clean and there is good service. They also speak Spanish! I tried the pepperoni pizza, mozzarella sticks and the chicken thingys (fingers I think) with fries. Everything was absolutely AMAZING ?️?️?️?️????? it was honestly so good I’m not even joking. It was so good that after i took my first bite of that pizza I knew I had to write a review ?? My favorite was the pizza, I can’t even describe it it was so good ?? it had such a great texture, it was like crunch and soft at the same time but the perfect amount of crunch that it didn’t feel burnt or anything and the slice was so big ?‍↕️?‍↕️ my only complaint is that it had a lot of oil on the top lol but it didn’t even taste oily or anything fr ?? anyway I don’t really like mozzarella sticks at restaurants because they always taste weird so I was a little worried to try these but they were SCRUMPTIOUS ?? there was not too much cheese and they were crunchy and everything bro, the chicken fingers were really good too, especially with the French fries!! Idk what they added to the French fries but they were amazing and EVERY single one was crunchy ?️?️??ANYWAYS I definitely recommend this place idk why I wrote all this but GO EAT HERE VRO ?️?️”

“The Tapp is the quintessential local bar. The staff are very friendly, the burgers are phenomenal (as is everything else on the menu), and the prices are more than reasonable. If you find yourself in Tarrytown for shopping or seeing a show at The Music Hall, make a stop at The Tapp a part of the experience. Better still, make the trip just to visit The Tapp alone. It really is a great place to hang out with friends, catch a singer, play Tuesday Night Trivia, or have a terrific meal.”

“For a relatively small restaurant, Bibille offers a wide selection of Korean and Japanese dishes. At a recent lunch, we sampled the bibim bowl, vegetable dumplings, mochi donut, and bubble tea. Everything was very tasty and, except for the donut, made to order on the spot. Even the bubble tea was blended and served up as a smoothie, and a delicious one at that. The prices were very reasonable, and service was prompt.”

“Tarry Tavern for dinner: Mom had Seared maine sea scallops with local corn and leek risotto and I got the roasted Hudson valley duck breast with pecan cranberry wild rice and sunchoke purée. Unreal. Mom cleaned her plate at a restaurant for the first time in ages and mine was to die for. We shared the pumpkin pecan bread pudding for dessert. Outstanding experience with excellent, friendly service”
