“We hosted an intimate wedding celebration in the elegant party room at Jean-Jacques. It was a joy to work with Donna Sullivan, who handles functions. She provided us with expert guidance in choosing the menu and every other detail. The room looked gorgeous, the food was exquisite and our guests were well cared for by Donna and the other servers. We received so many compliments from the attendees who remarked that they had a wonderful time and that the food was delicious. The bride and groom, and all of their friends and family, enjoyed themselves immensely and were able to meet, connect and have conversation in an elegant atmosphere. The party room is indeed a hidden gem at this premiere bakery and cafe in Pleasantville. My husband and I are not from the area and had never been to Jean-Jacques, but I contacted Jean-Jacques at the recommendation of a family member and couldn’t have been more pleased. It was exactly what we wanted. We had ample room for 40 guests and a jazz piano player. From the appetizers, Bellinis, Prosecco, wine and other beverages, to the sumptuous gourmet buffet dinner to the most delicious celebratory cake, everything was PERFECT. I say this as someone who has organized many events professionally over the decades. Donna Sullivan and Jean-Jacques are top notch.“

“I've only eaten there once, but I can see myself visiting again. Service was very good, and friendly. The "Alvin" Grilled Chicken Sandwich was tasty, though the Chicken was a bit chewy. The French Fries were very good. The menu looks very ambitious, and I look forward to trying their other offerings. The bathrooms are tiny, but clean! It's a safe bet that you'll get an enjoyable meal at Strawberry Place.“

“You would think the food would be consistent from one PF Chang's to another but this is not the case.
We have been to many PF Chang's in many different states and we agree, the food in this location was by the far the best that we have had at any location. Our server was great. The only disappointment was the men's bathroom was nasty with urine on the floor and paper towels in the urinals. I mentioned this to the bartender who said they would take care of it right away. I saw the manager go to check it out but even a half hour later nothing had been done to correct it.“

“I’m afraid to be too honest about how much I loved my first visit to The Tasty Table for fear that the more of us who share the less chance I’ll get a table…but…it’s great!! I can hardly wait to return! Sunday brunch is fantastic! Busy and absolutely worth the wait! I had their delicious shakshuka and an early grey tea while my friend had the hamburger and a cappuccino. We both loved it!!! We ate outside which was lovely, but inside is even more lovely! The design is farmhouse chic meets French patisserie…a great combo!!! And…the staff was kind and generous!! “Just picked up 3 Stollen (German holiday cakes) one hesitates to say these are by far the best, forget about the sad supermarket specimen. I have bought them in German high end patisseries including in Dresden where they reputably come from, NOT even close! Let me also add that everything else and we have tried most is absolutely delicious and reflects the high end ingredients and incredible creativity and craftsmanship. Bon appetite!“

“These are the honestly the best gluten-free shortbread cookies I’ve ever had—actually no! They are simply the best gluten-free anything I’ve ever tried. It’s hard to believe they don’t contain gluten because the texture and flavor are identical to traditional shortbread. Buttery, perfectly balanced, and rich without being too sweet. If no one told you they were gluten-free, you’d never guess. Absolutely outstanding product that somehow defies the laws of baking!“

“Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“

“Earlybird Coffee & More in Cresskill is such a great find. The barista was very friendly and welcoming. The pastries were amazing — fresh, flaky and baked on premises. Their espresso drinks are excellent, smooth and well-crafted. I also noticed how popular their matcha drinks were while I was there — almost everyone seemed to be ordering one. “I have been looking for a vegan bakery for the longest and finally stumbled upon Flourish Baking company. Sent an email and got a quick response from Diane. She was so kind, understanding and overall so helpful. The cake was delicious and the cupcakes as well!! “I am genuinely surprised by some of the negative reviews. I decided to visit the bakery on a whim because my usual one was closed, and I was needed a cake and some sweets. I had the chance to meet one of the owners, who was incredibly sweet and friendly. She was incredibly patient as I placed my order, which included a multitude of items. My family and I were happy with the cake, and the mini chocolate, passionfruit, and mixed berry mouse cakes that we ate. Not to mention, I also got a loaf of bread, which was sooo tasty!! I will definitely be back!“

“This is literally THE FALAFEL PLACE. It immediately took me back home—the flavors are exactly what a proper falafel wrap should be. I ordered the eggplant wrap with falafel, and it was perfect. On top of that, they even have my childhood favorite banana-strawberry drink. I did not understand the language from the can, but I definitely knew it was that tasty drink! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

There is only outdoor seating so we took out variety of baked goods and coffee home.

Canele was baked traditional way and was almost same as what you can get in France.
Yuzu Madeline and Almond croissant were delicious.“

The shakes are decent but $11 .

My burger bun was hard as a rock, the bacon was hard and cold, my kids' broccoli was swimming in some weird oil like liquid, inedible, the chicken Mac& Cheese bowl tasted warm and seemed microwabable.....and we literally had to send back the wine carafe, it was BITTER!!!
