“First time buying lunch here I ordered a turkey sandwich with lettuce , tomato, mayonnaise and oil & vinegar. Perfect portion and flavor not too bulky unlike other delis that put so much stuff in the sandwich you’d be overwhelmed. I pretty much ate all in one sitting. I have very sharp ears for some reason I heard him say something after I ordered I forgot to ask to toast the roll. So I saw him put the entire bread with mayonnaise lettuce and tomato on the grill. The guy looked a little grumpy or just his normal demeanor who knows I’ve never been there before lol. Sandwich roll price $9.75 plus tax came out $10.30.“

“My first impression is the cafe was inviting & clean. When I walked in I was greeted by two baristas I ordered fruit cup, croissant, peanut butter banana smoothie and a chipotle avocado sandwich without chicken. I had higher expectations for the sandwich it was pressed however the cheese wasn’t melted and the baguette was rock solid. I’ve had way better at Panera. Maybe this sandwich should be on a different kind of bread. However the croissant I had was flaky , soft and buttery. And the smoothie was tasty , thick and flavorful. I would recommend this cafe for anyone wanting custom drinks and a quick snack. Their assortment of baked goods looked delicious.“

“When I was in college I was coming here almost daily to do my work. Sometimes I’d try other places but nothing compared to Mandy Bean.

The coffee is on the “pricier” side but if it was a corporate business no one would bat an eye, so I personally don’t mind because I know regardless of what I order it will be consistently made well and I am more than happy to support a small business.

They are usually busy but if I had to wait for a table/seat I was never waiting for more than 10 minutes. Plenty of parking. Bathroom is always clean. The music is perfect for concentrating on my work. It is a comfortable space for working and also to come with a friend. Their everything seasoned croissant is one of my favorite things ever. The staff is always patient, kind, and knowledgeable. My boyfriend isn’t really into coffee drinks so always finds himself enjoying a seasonal tea. There is something for everyone here.“

“Where do I start, Portrush is one of a kind. The baristas are not only knowledgable but also truly hospitable and very welcoming. Since they have opened I’ve seen this true cafe and espresso bar put smiles on 100s of faces. If I mention the establishment it creates curiosity and if already known, I always hear “They are awesome, Que rico, or another positive accolade.” The perfect place to learn about the process of coffee and the love of community. I recently learned the name is in homage to Portrush, Ireland—another testament of the unique diversity of the Village of Port Chester.

“This place hit a bunch of the same things I look for in a coffee shop.

(1) the cold brew is excellent! They didn’t have it on their written menu but they do have it! It’s delicious.

(2) The shop is so relaxing and even though I did take away I felt like staying a bit to enjoy the ambiance.

(3) The staff is friendly, fast, and super pleasant to interact with.

“We've been coming to the reading room since it opened. We are big fans of the coffee bar especially the hot lattes. We had one yesterday that was delicious, creamy, smooth and had divine chocolate notes. Cup sizing is great too (small = 2 shots, medium = 3 shots, large = 4 shots). They do coffee right in a way that most coffee shops do not!! Staff are always welcoming and kind. Wonderful seating on front porch. Book selection is also great and they will order any book for you! They are the best :)“

“Stopped by Matter Coffee this morning and it truly mattered. I had the pear sage iced coffee, which was delicious and totally unique. The flavors were interesting and refreshing without being overpowering. The team was super friendly too. When they didn’t have the shirt size I wanted, they told me new swag was on the way. You can tell they care about the coffee and the community. Definitely a must-stop spot in Croton for anyone who wants their morning coffee to really matter. ☕🍐🌿“

“There is a lack of good coffee shops around me but this place doesn’t disappoint — good strong coffee, great desserts and reasonable prices.

I had an excellently crafted cappuccino and decided to try the gluten-free almond cookies (come in a package of 4). During our party the folks eating the cookies were in aww of the cookies and wanted to know where we order them from. I told them Bella’s bake shop in Mount Kisco. “Went here for a Bacon Egg and Cheese. After tax with card it was $6 which was disappointing especially considering the lack of egg bacon and cheese compared to bread. The order came out fast and the guy who helped me was nice. It was a good sandwich but there are plenty of other places charging the same price or less for a much fuller sandwich that tastes just as good. I get the economy is bad but I’d rather the base sandwich be another ridiculous dollar more for a reasonable amount of fillings.“

“I just had the Starbucks experience. I came to downtown Scarsdale at 6 AM to work. Nothing was open, including the building I was going to work in. I do not drink coffee and had never bought anything at a Starbucks in my lifetime. So they suggest a hot chocolate, was upsold to the largest cup, they put a dab of Whip Cream and Chocolate syrup on it. The barista was a very Upbeat person And provided constant upbeat greetings to every last person who came in. I was thinking of my niece Jessica who was a barista and now makes part of her living doing IMPROV. “The most friendly staff. Wonderfully rich cold brew. Tasty treats. Delicious eats. Open, light atmosphere. Clutch for last minute gifts, market essentials, quality spices, snacks, produce, meat and dairy. Now a full menu (dangerously good crispy potatoes). A very fine establishment! :)“

“Great service over all. Only con is that they clean everything but the seating area and the station with the straws and sugar packets. They are usually almost always filthy whenever I come to this location and in all my time I've been here the seating area is usually not full anyway. This place could also use a little more seating, there is only 1 table which is small and 4 chairs and the last one can't even fit under the table while the door is right next to it. Management should encourage workers to sweep up the bits of trash from the restaurant floor and clean up the tables when there aren't any customers to show a bit more cleanliness. Otherwise this Dunkin is cleaner than some others I've seen, even though I've seen cleaner, and I usually never have any issues with rude workers or mistakes with orders.

Parking: Parking is somewhat difficult considering this Dunkin Donuts is located at a plaza on Route 9A and they share a relatively small parking lot with the rest of the other stores at the plaza. You may have to park at the other plaza across the street which has a lot more parking.“

“Love this coffee shop/bakery in this converted old train ticket /waiting station. Their are still some announcements as trains pull in. Noticed some people working on their laptops. saw some families. Parking is a little tough and you have to pay metered parking via an app or coins. Once inside it is totally worth it. I highly recommend this place.“
